Chapter Fourteen

Lori slowly walked up the stairs with some dread since their search for their missing members has turned up empty...once again. It was like they just vanished out of thin air which meant that the clock was ticking as their normal lives were slowly being taken away from them. 

"I wonder if we will ever find them." Lori said as she slowly opened the door. She expected Leni to be sleeping since she walked upstairs with that special smoothie of hers. Shaking Her head, she entered only to see that the room was empty which made her heart pound against her chest. Did they seriously lose another family member? She was about to rush to tell the others when something caught her attention. On the mirror, there was some text. It said:

It seemed strange and she could barely read it. It seemed to say something about paying for...something. She didn't know what and honestly she didn't care. They had to track Leni down before she does or says anything to take their comfortable lives crumbling down. 

At the same time, Leni sat in the pews thinking about the reactions of the Louds. She could imagine them thinking that she would somehow manage to destroy their comfortable lives. She almost scoffed at that since it showed how years of greed and lies have corrupted the others...with some exceptions. If she had to guess, they would intensify their efforts to find them and will probably end up doing something despicable if they become desperate enough. 

"I wonder if there were other sins that they tried to hide." Leni said to herself. If they were willing to dumb her down for their own comfort then they probably had more secrets that they tried to keep hidden. If she had more help then she could slowly uncover them and possibly release them when their punishment for their actions against Lincoln is eventually start to end. Help that needed to come from people who are close enough to the family that they wouldn't suspect a thing.

As that thought came, Leni started to smile cause she knew who would be perfect to figure out what else the Louds have hidden. Sure, they would need some extra help from Lisa's watchful eyes and Luan's camera's, but maybe with a certain ritual....they could get past any measures that they had in store. As she sat up to tell Valak about her plan...

The two girls in question shuttered with a strange feeling of dread that won't go away until it was too late. However, we turn our attention back to the Louds who were just hit with some more news. Another one of the members was missing which caused some of the others to get irritated.

"Ugh! What is going on?" Lynn Jr. said as she banged her hands on the dining room table. Normally, Rita and Lynn Senior would tell her off for this, but they were also frustrated with the disappearances of several members of their family.

"Your guess is as good as ours. It's like someone is targeting us for some reason, but I don't recall any of us getting onto other's bad sides." Rita said causing the others to stare at each other with disbelief. Someone was aiming for revenge, but who?

"Could it be Lincoln doing this?" Lola asked. 

"That is impossible. He doesn't know the whereabouts of the multiple security measures that I placed in our household. Even if he did, it would be impossible for him to sneak in without one of us seeing him." Lisa said.

"He could've hired..." Lynn Junior started to say before Lori cut her off.

"Just give it a rest, it's obviously not him. Since he doesn't have enough money to leave our house nor hire some supposed person to sneak into our house and kidnap our siblings." Lori said.

"Besides, they had to have some form of intelligence to be able to sneak past all of us and avoid leaving behind any clues for us to easily figure them out." Luan said.

"But who else could it be?" Lynn Junior said. 

"At the moment, we don't know...however, we can attempt to get some understanding on why our siblings were taken. Since we have that strange message on the mirror." Lisa said. 

"Look, we just need to stay positive that we'll find our missing members before anyone becomes more suspicious. So continue figuring out the message and get a list of anyone who might have a grudge....besides, Lincoln." Rita said which caused Lola and Lynn Junior to sigh since they had some belief that he was behind this. As the family continued to try and keep what happened a secret, hidden forces were gaining allies that will bring them down.

Though, how it will be finished has yet to be seen.
