~ AᴛᴛɪᴄᴜsMaybe it was the confidence in the promise that he declared to Chifuyu about saving (Y/n).
Though he did had wholeheartedly have the motivation to save (Y/n).
Maybe it was the fact that those words should be proved by his actions.
Maybe if he were more of a man than a puny boy raging for the adrenaline of battle.
Yet, he still couldn't understand how in the world would he be a man for a hyper fifteen-year-old who only just met his lover.
He knew that dreamers were selfish when it comes down to their goal, and his goal right now was all for love.
The negativity running through his mind failed to boost his morale as stood at their spot. Well, at least that's what he imagined it as.
It was implicitly their spot.
The river bed is decorated with splotches of green as its companion, the glassy river, stood weakly held by the cracking ice.
Aside from the soothing sight. It held soothing memories, both from the first time he met her to the last.
He was yet to plan on actually saving her. New lives, new environment, new problems. And this was one of them.
Should he try to get closer to her?
Well, yes but no. It had its pros and cons. If she won't reciprocate his endeavour then there will be no point to his idea.
He, temporarily, got distracted by the cool breeze as his half tied hair swayed with the wind.
"Hmm... (Y/n) what do I do about you?" He murmured against the growing pace of the wind.
"I don't know..." A voice answered his rhetorical question.
What?
Manjiro's eyes broadened as he glanced back, only to find a man.
Broken lilac eyes met his hazy ebony eyes.
The man smirked at him as he moved beside him. His earrings and hair danced with the rushing end as well.
Elfish snow-white hair. A subtle madness lingered in his big lilac eyes. Earrings depicting almost a sunset.
The sunset earring gave him a brief flashback of his time with her, driving into the dusk as they went to their spot.
Mikey knew exactly who he was facing yet he feigned a lack of recognition.
"Oh, hello. I thought it was her for a second." Mikey carefully spoke. All though, the man must have heard him utter the name; he made no haste to put her in the light again.
"Oh? Does she sound so much like a man? Well, either way, the name's Kurokawa Izana." Izana said it seemed he had a permanent impish smirk on his face.
Mikey internally scoffed at the man who kept unblinking eye contact with him.
"I'm Mikey." He feigned a smile at the latter's so-called joke.
Well, in a way, he was happy he met the leader of Tenjiku. Yet, the unnerving feeling that Izana was purposefully spying on him never left his mind.
Great, another thing he had to worry about.
This world made it way harder to be with her than it already was.
His enthusiasm was slowly seeping out of his body as he wondered about the potentially dangerous schemes that were written his fate.
"Well, I should get going," Mikey said, slowly, trying not to sound in a rush to get away from the man even though that was entirely the reason he was trying to excuse himself.
"Of course. See ya next time." Izana said, without waving.
Izana never left the site except for Mikey. As soon as Mikey turned his back towards him, his true emotions rushed in.
Pure anger flooded his senses as he watched the blonde stroll leisurely down the street.
Without hesitation, Izana quickly dialled a known number.
"Do it"

Somewhere not too far from Izana but never in his hindsight, (Y/n) walked down the sloped pavement. Her high heels clicked against the cold tiles of the route.
She leaned a bit back as she went down the hill, her hair fluttering and bouncing with her rhythm.
Her memories of the past weren't entirely clear but she did recall a few unfinished pieces of information.
Only then did she notice a blonde not too far from her, appearing from the junction that she was to approach.
