His entire world was rocked, caught in the fist of the massive automaton, he was sent flying until the wall stopped the impromptu flight. His partner rained a storm of razor winds but found her powers diminished, their imprisonment having stolen part of her energy. She spun and danced in the air but the WOTAN had still managed to capture her in its grip, tightly pressing her within its grasp.

Soleil dug himself out from the imprint upon the wall and catapulted forth, smashing its head in with his fists ablaze, following through with his charge, he spun and with the propulsion of flames, slammed his leg into its head even further. The giant mech dropped to the ground and released Wendy from her capture. Condensing gales into a concentrated point, the Herrscher of Wind unleashed a powerful blast and blew the WOTAN through the wall, her breath came in rasps as she dropped back to the ground. Soleil leapt and caught her again in his arms, watching the machine for any movement.

"Sol, you alright? You took a nasty hit there, I was afraid I'd have to drag you out of here if you couldn't get back up." Wendy smiled up at the Knight, her words held no serious meaning, she knew that he would stand up again no matter the injury.

"Nah, I'll be fine, maybe a small dent in my head but hey, I was never really the brightest lightbulb of our squad haha!" The two shared a laugh with each other, sinking into each other's embrace. Soleil turned and began pacing toward the presumed exit in a leisurely pace.

Until he was suddenly thrashed, dropping Wendy and rolled on the ground as he was pitched to the side with ease. The girl reached her hand out to the downed Knight before she let out a scream of agony, the WOTAN having awoken again and crushed the girl beneath its heel. His head rang, and his vision blurred. He spat out the blood that gathered in his mouth, he could feel the aching of his Stigmata taking its toll upon his body.

He grit his teeth, slowly crawling to his knees, pain flared throughout and his body felt like it was weighed down by a freighter of lead. The veins of corruption stretched further to his eye as he drew upon more of his Honkai energy.

"NEKO-CHARM!"

A white blur flew overhead of Soleil, dropkicking the WOTAN dead centre of its torso, a solid-light cat's paw materialising and smashing it even further away. Wendy groaned in her place as she began to float in the breeze, hovering to her partner.

"Just in time, baby sis. Not that I'm really complaining but what the hell took ya so long?" He was hauled to his feet with Wendy's assistance, twin pistols were hurled backward towards him as he seized them from the air.

A familar hum ran through them as they recognised their wielder.

"Got sidetracked with a lot of stuff. This crappy robot is too easy, you should've been able to destroy this thing no sweat! Hehe, maybe I've just gotten better than you." Her smarm energised her brother in competition, a second wind had him limping forward and in front of the younger Kaslana.

"Oi, oi. You're getting overconfident for a B-Rank Valkyrie that just barely skinned her placement." The girl twitched as she whirled toward him, ready to give him a piece of her mind.

A palm massaged her scalp, making her pause. "Good job Kiana, you've done well in this operation but leave this thing to Wendy and I. You'll need your strength if you wanna carry the both of us out of here."

Wendy and Soleil both faced the WOTAN, climbing back upon its legs and roaring with a robotic screech. Viridescent winds gathered in the Herrscher's hands, a long staff ending with a hooked blade. A scythe, invisible to the naked eye.
