Sky's POV
It was dark.
I know I wasn't sleeping.
You aren't aware of your surroundings when you're asleep.
At one point it was hot. Like I had fallen into Death Mountain. Then I felt hard rock underneath me. My concussion getting worse and making it harder for me to focus on the voices around me.
I heard a gruff voice say something about rocks and food. There was a young woman who sounded familiar, and yet I have never heard her before. And then there was a gentle voice with an implacable accent. That one I've definitely heard before. But from where?
I felt fully conscious. And yet—I couldn't bring myself to open my eyes. It's like they where glued shut.
At one point I was being carried by a pair of large, calloused hands.
I was later set down on what was probably a bed, but felt like hard rock. The overwhelming heat had cooled off a little when someone rubbed some sort of liquid on me.
The three voices from before talked in hushed whispers. As if they were afraid I was going to overhear them.
But—there seemed to be a fourth presence. Yet he or she didn't speak. Maybe they where a mute. Wild was like at first. They had to gain his trust before he would speak to them in full sentences.
I felt the presence of the Master Sword nearby. But not nearly as close as I wanted. Fi seemed to be with the unknown people.
And that made me insanely more curious as to who these people where and what timeline I was in.
It felt like days until I could just barely crack my eyes open. And when I did I was of course attacked with light.
So I closed my eyes for a few seconds before trying again, but this time opening my eyes to their full extent.
I looked around. I was alone. The people had left a while ago. The room I was in looked like a house, just with inner no walls or door. The house seemed to be carved out of rock. Not just made from it. There seemed to be everything a home needs. Except a kitchen. At the back wall of the house there was a lava pit.
I stared at it for a few minutes before deciding that that wasn't the craziest thing I've ever seen.
I looked down and realized that the bed I was on was actually made of rock.
I was really confused as to where I was and when I was when I recognized the design as the homes in Wild's Goron Village.
Now to find the others.
I sat up and immediately regretted the decision as my head started to ache ten times worse then when I first got hit. It seems like it might have turned from a little bump on the head to a full blown concussion.
Nevertheless I got up. I'll listen to Hyrule's lecture later. For now I have to find everyone else. We've never been separated when going through a portal.
Actually, now that I think about it that could've been an actual portal. It didn't glow dark purple, no one had started to pack up, no one (Time) didn't groan or complain from being sucked back out before we got to Lon Lon Ranch.
I shook it off. Maybe my concussion was just jumbling up my memories.
I found Fi on a table on the other side of the house. I stumbled toward her. I couldn't see right, but that's okay. The first thing of business is to find the rest of the chain.
I kept repeating that in my pounding head as I picked up Fi—who hummed in greeting and concern—and made my way outside.
