"I'm so tired..." Kuroko whined and Akashi rolled his eyes.
"I hate to break it to you but you only moved the chairs inside," Kuroko glared at his boyfriend and rolled his eyes.
"Be quiet and let me complain in peace," Akashi just sighed and let Kuroko be.
------
"And done! We finished putting everything inside!" Akashi clapped lightly.
"Yes, we did." Akashi looked at Kuroko and smiled at him lovingly.
"This will be our home for a while, but I promise you when I'm older I will get a better home and we'll live happily..." Kuroko smiled at him and his eyes started watering.
"Same promise you made when we were kids...." Akashi wiped Kuroko's tears away and held his cheeks.
"I will always love you, Tetsuya. I can't promise that I won't make mistakes along the way since the only person I've ever loved was you... But I can promise that I'll always love you."
Kuroko leaned in a kissed him. "I'll always love you too, Seijuuro..."
------
"We're graduating!" Kise cheered.
They all smiled. "Yeah, we are..."
Momoi's eyes started watering. "We better keep in touch!"
Everyone chuckled, and Kuroko started getting emotional too. "She's right! if you guys don't contact us I will personally show up to your college."
"Don't worry, Tetsu! We will always keep in contact!" Aomine reassured Kuroko.
"Yeah, as much as I hate to admit it... You guys are the ones I will miss the most." Everyone cooed at Midorima while he just blushed.
"Either way, we can all hang out for the holidays since we're all coming back home, right?" Kagami asked nervously.
"Sure, just bring food and Kuroko and I'm in," Murasakibara said jokingly.
"I will miss you guys, like a lot. I don't usually get this emotional but you guys are really important to me even though I might not show it a lot. Obviously, I'm glad I have Tetsuya to stay with me, but it won't be the same without you guys... " Everyone cooed at Akashi.
"So please, let's all keep in contact... I don't want to lose any of you guys..." and by the end of Akashi's speech, everyone was wiping their tears away.
"We'll always be together, physically or not!" Everyone cheered at that.
-----
"Wow, it's been what..." Kuroko stopped to think.
"5 years!" Akashi yelled from the kitchen.
"Thanks!" Kuroko yelled back.
"It's been 5 years you guys! and now we're all finally together again," Everyone cheered.
Momoi whistled. "5 years, and it looks like our lovely couple here are already somehow rich!" Kuroko blushed in embarrassment and denied the statement.
Riko cooed at Kuroko and hit her girlfriend lightly. "Leave him alone,"
Kuroko recovered and sat up. "I'm so happy that we're all finally living in the same city, Seijuuro and I had to fly so many times just to make it to your guy's birthdays!"
Kise started whining. "I didn't have any money so I could never come..." Everyone rolled their eyes knowing he was making up stuff.
"Whatever, so how are you and Akashi? Has his dad left you guys alone?" Akashi came into the living room.
"Yep, we got a restraining order too. I exposed his company and he wanted our money, it was a big no from me..." Everyone hummed in agreement and decided to all watch a movie.
------
Everyone was asleep and Akashi lightly kissed Kuroko.
Kuroko looked up at him. "Did you know that at first... I thought you forgot about me?" Akashi softened.
"Darling, you were never forgotten, especially in my heart."
------
And it's done!!! The ending was rushed (of course) but I think it ended well since Kuroko and Akashi finally got away from the toxic household they lived in.
Thank you so much for keeping up with this book, if you want an epilogue I will gladly do so.
