The Date

~Josie's pov~

It was now 6:50 and I had just finished getting ready for the date I have with Hope tonight. I was pacing the floor back and forth, growing more and more nervous. "Josie, stop you look drop dead gorgeous. Wolfie will love it." Lizzie says, smiling at me. "Are you sure it's not to much?" I ask. I am dressed in a yellow sun dress with my hair in one long braid. "She loves you Jo. I'm sure." She replies. Right as I am about to respond there is a knock at the door. She's here. Lizzie opens the door and smiles. "Your wolfie is here." She says. Hope rolls her eyes and laughs. "Hello to you to Lizzie." She says. I walk to the door and shyly smile. "Oh wow. You look- wow you look beautiful love." Hope tells me with a smile. "Thank you Hope." I say with a smile as I blush. "Are you ready for our date my love?" Hope asks me with a small smile. "Lead the way." I reply with a blush. We started walking towards the garage that held all the cars that students or staff owned. We approach a black mustang with two doors. "Is this yours?" I ask Hope in shock. The car was gorgeous. "Yes she is. My 16th birthday gift from my Uncle Kol." She replies with a blinding smile.  "She?" I ask with a grin. Leave it to Hope Mikealson to give her car a gender. "No man could bring anyone this much joy, so yes she." She replies. Hope opens the door for me and closes it after I'm in my seat. She then runs around and gets in the drivers side starting the car. "So where are we going ?" I ask curiously. "That is for me to know and you to find out gorgeous." She tells me with a smile. We drive for about 20 minutes before we pull into the park. I can't help but smile. As we get out of the car Hope rushes to my side to open my door for me. She reached into her pocket and pulls out a blind fold. "Will you put this on for me love?" She asks me shyly. I giggle at her shyness and take the blind fold putting it on. "Are you taking me to the middle of nowhere to kill me?" I tease. She laughs wholeheartedly and takes my hand. "I could never do such a thing." She replies in a small whisper. We walk for about 10 minutes her gently guiding me the whole way. She suddenly stops and lets out a shaky breath. "You can take it off now love." She tells me gently. I reach up and slip the cover from my eyes. I let out a gasp at the scene before me. There was a small picnic with fairy lights and a wooden basket. All next to a gorgeous waterfall. "You did all of this for me Hope?" I ask completely awe struck. She gives that famous Mickelson smirk, "you deserve the world darling." She tells me. "Shall we eat love ?" She asks me. I nod my head eagerly. She takes my hand and leads me to the blanket pulling out all of the food she prepared for us. As we ate we talked about everything and nothing. As we finished eating Hope looked at me with a soft smile. "Wanna stargaze before we head back?" She asks me. I smile at how adorable she is. "Of course Hope." I say. We lay back and look up at the sky talking about the different constellations. Almost an hour later Hope turns over and looks at me. "I better get you back before Lizzie gets worried" She says quietly. I nod in agreement and we begin to make our way back to the car. The ride home I simply hold her hand and listen to the radio. When we pull into the school she walks me to my room and slowly drops my hand. "I had a great time tonight Jo.. I would love to take you out again sometime.." She says shyly looking at her shoes. "I would love that Hope. But next time I get to plan it." I tell her with a smile. We stand there awkwardly for a second in silence. Kiss me idiot. I think to myself willingly her to do it. "KISS HER YOU STUPID WOLFIE!" Lizzie shouts from the room and I can feel the red coming to my cheeks. Before I get a chance to apologize for Lizzie's actions Hope looks at me with that damn smirk. " Would it be alright if I gave you a good night kiss darling?" She asks me. I can no longer hide my blush. " I would love that" I say barely above a whisper. It felt as if time was in slow motion when Hopes hand moved a piece of hair behind my ear before moving her hand to caress my check. I slowly lean into her touch before I see her leaning in. I close my eyes and lean in. When our lips meet i swear the rest of world disappeared. All I could feel was her. We kissed softly, yet it held every emotion we were both feeling. We slowly pulled away and gazed into each other's eyes. "Goodnight darling" Hope says with a small smile. I can't help but grin. "Good night Wolfie." She waits for me to go into my room before leaving. I close the door and lean against it. Taking in everything that has taken place tonight. "Well how was it?" Lizzie asks me with a wide grin. " I am so in love with Hope Andrea Mickelson" I whisper out with a huge smile.
