Prolog

Charlie POV:

"Geoff. You could not possibly understand."
"I have been your therapist for quite a long time, Charlie. I can try at least.", my therapist smiled his goofy smile, but this time I didn't smile back.
"Are you married, Geoff?", I asked him, after a painfully long time of silence.
"Yes, I had a wive once."
"What happened to her?", I asked, not caring if it sounds rude. I need to know. Instantly.
"She  died."
"Why?"
"Charly, I know that you know, okay? I can see it on your face that you know. I don't have to tell you.", Geiff sighed, but he stayed calm. He always did.
"She died because she had an Eating Disorder."
"Aneroxia Nervosa.", he nods.
"I have that too."
"Yes, you do Charlie. What does that have to do with the question you want to ask Nick?".
I groaned in frustration.
I blinked aways my tears and breathed in: "Because I want to ask him for his hand in marriage, but not in my condition!"
Geoff looked at me perplexed.
Its hard to get your therapist inpressed, so I saw it as a win.
"So...He is the love of your live?"
"Yes of course he is!", i felt my cheeks heaten up. "He is sweet, he is kind,", i began counting on my fingers. "He is hot, he is sporty, he has a dog. Heck, he has two dogs soon! And his hair-"

Geoff held his hand up and smiled at me. "I am very happy for you both, you guys fit perfectly. But, what you have to realize, is that you are just as amazing as him. Before that, Marriage would get to your head."

"Then why did the idea have to pop up in the first place?"

"Because that is what love is like. Unexpected. You can't control everything, Charlie.", he said and it made me boil up with anger. Who was he to say that? Of courseI could control it. I've got everything under control!

Geoff saw my anger so he added, smiling his sympathical smile: "You'd be lieing if you'd say, that love is always able to be planned."

"Then perhaps love is full of lies."
