Take it slowly

Jimin ignored calls on his phone and knocks on the door. Trying to get used to the idea Jungkook wasn't ever his, he didn't hide from it as he would have before ,he confronted it admitted to himself it was his mistake and waited for the pain to ease.
He couldn't blame his past for this, this was what happened to others, lost love, he could say love as well because he knew the pain in his heart wasn't because he didn't have that friendship anymore , it was because , not seeing that one person who had become so much to him, made him smile, made him rejoice in waking up next to him, watch him when he wasn't aware, give him that warm fuzzy feeling inside, made him feel like his heart was broken at the loss.
He kept the lights off in the house, sitting in the dark for hours at a time , sleeping not eating becoming thin and pale.
A week and a half went by, then one morning rapid knocking came, "Jimin? I know your in there, I'll stay here until you open the door, Jimin!"
It was Jins voice. Jimin pulled himself up from the sofa and clicked the door open.
"Hey Jin ....." he walked back to the sofa feeling weak, Jin strode in, talking rapidly, " whatever is up between you and Kook sort it out my Joonie is so upset and worried..... oh my god Jimin, what have you done to yourself!"
He looked distraught at the figure in front of him, Jimin was always slim but his features were now drawn, dark shadows under his eyes, his skin pale he looked ill.
"I'm ok honestly, don't worry, I will call Namjoon ok sorry to make him worry, you want a drink?"
"Er,ok but you look ill Jimin,"
Jimin stood up, a bit too quickly, everything went round, but he managed to stay on his feet, going to the kitchen he opened the fridge but realised there was no milk for a hot drink," Erm I've run out of milk is water ok?"
"Sure, look Jimin, talk to me.........."
He was interrupted by a crash and thud, running to the kitchen he found Jimin passed out on the floor a broken glass smashed near by.
He called an ambulance and before long Jimin was on his way to hospital, Jin following closely behind. He put his car phone on speaker ringing Namjoon,
"Hey babe what's up?"
"Joonie it's Jimin I visited him and he passed out he looks so I'll we are in the way to hospital,"
"Right ...,on the way, Jungkook wait for me,"
Jungkook had been with Namjoon in the office discussing parts of the business he would be in charge of, Namjoon had his phone on speaker and Jungkook was about to leave when Jimin was mentioned, so here the pair were now, Namjoon driving as Jungkook had been in a state, just parking up at the hospital, rushing into A & E they heard their names. Jin waved them over to where he was sitting.
"How is he what did they say can we see him?" Jungkook rushed out.
"I'm still waiting..." Jin said just as a voice asked," er Jimins family?"
"Here!" They rushed to the nurse who took them to the doctor outside a room discussing something with another nurse.
"Oh are you Jimins family?"
"Yes "said Jin and Namjoon
"Boyfriend," said Jungkook making the other two stare.
"Ah, well ok then, Jimin hasn't been eating properly and I guess he's always been slim well not eating has made him lose any excess weight he had which is why he looks gaunt, also he's dehydrated all this is what made him pass out, I've attatched a drip to boost his fluids he should be ok after a few hours to go home but I advise that he's not left on his own, someone needs to take care of him, make sure he eats."
"I will he can come to mine," Jungkook said as the doctor nodded, " well he will be here for the next couple of hours ,"
Nodding to them the doctor left, the others quietly opening the door to see Jimin out for the count , curled on his side.
"Wow, he looks so fragile," Namjoon said.
Jungkook stared at the boy, he'd done this to him he thought, going to the boy and holding one of his small hands. Jin pulled a chair to the bed telling Jungkook to sit down and that he and Namjoon would leave but to keep in touch.
Half an hour later and Jungkook felt a small twitch from the boys hand in his.
"Jimin?"
Jimin woke from the nap that had happened, was that Jungkooks voice?
Lifting heavy eyelids up, he saw the others dark gaze on him.
"Kookie?"
"Hey baby, how you feeling?" He said seeing Jimin smile at him then look anxious.
"What happened, Erm, why am I here and you?"
"You passed out when Jin called around, he phone Namjoon and I was there so we came."
Jimin nodded suddenly anxious," I'm sorry he called you, it's ok you don't have to stay," Jimin said pulling his hand away.
Jungkook picked it up again and held it tightly.
"I'm right where I want to be but Jimin you have to take better care of yourself ,"
"I know I'm sorry you seem to have to keep saving me, it's not that I meant to get like this, I just cope like this but I will be ok I'm not going to be that useless person anymore and I'm sorry for making you feel awkward before,I mistook something the wrong way and it is fine you corrected me," he finished proud that he had spoken his apologies and not broken down like a baby."
"Jimin...."
"Hmmm?"
"You weren't wrong."
"Eh?"
"I'm the dimwit here, I lied to you and myself, I was sure at the time that what I was saying was true but I realised I am emotionally stunted, I kidded myself I was what I was saying but, I want you Jimin, I realise that now, every moment with you makes me happy so please be my boyfriend."
It was Jimins turn to look surprised, his heart was doing somersaults but his brain told him not to rush.
"No...., it's not that I don't want to it's just we seem to rush in without thinking, we haven't even been on a date!"
"Ok then, we'll the doc says you have to stay with me til your better, we won't do any funny business and we will take it slowly, but be prepared, I'm going to win your heart, deal?" He said holding the others hand.
"Deal," Jimin said smiling.
