"Oh, it seems I made the wrong turn. I think it's this way."

Gojo abruptly changed direction, making a 180 turn.

"What? But I see the stand just a few yards from here. It says Ki-ku-fu-"

"Yeah, that's not it. There's a better place."

He grabbed my wrist, his pace picking up.

"Uh, Gojo what are you doing?"

From behind, a raucous voice echoed over the street.

"Oh my god! Tunka? Is that you? Gracious it's been awhile!"

Gojo flinched, his face wincing as he slowly turned around.

A tall woman wearing a black tank top and baggy plaid pants jogged up to us. She wore wide gold hoop earings and had curly brown hair that bounced on her shoulders.

People stared at her passing through the crowd, in awe of her beauty. She carried a fun and carefree aura with a matching smile. Tangled necklaces swayed side to side as she speed walked. Her bracelets clanging together on her glowing and clear olive skin.

She wasn't just pretty, she was beautiful.

Confidence radiated off of her, her big brown eyes laced with thick blue eyeliner.

Gojo's lips pursed, his face scrunching.

He left go of my wrist, standing in front of me.

The woman's arms flew around his neck, pulling him closer to her face. For moment it looked like they were about to kiss before Gojo leaned back, awkwardly holding her waist.

Oh, so that's who this woman was.

"Babe! Why didn't you text me back? I've been waiting for you! No matter, I'll make sure you get the right consequences for your behavior."

Her plump lips turning to a mischievous smile.

I felt like I was watching something I shouldn't have been.

Gojo carefully unraveled her arms from him with a dry and forced smile.

"Tona, right?"

"No, it's Yula. Not even close." Her face was stone cold, until turning back into a playful expression.

She brushed back his hair behind his ear.

"I love your eyes you know. Anyone tell you that you have pretty eyes? Because you do."

I drank my soda Gojo bought me on the way to the stand so I could do something with my hands since I wasn't wearing my rings. This whole situation was awkward, at least for me.

I reached the bottom of the cup without realizing it, slurping what was left loudly.

It was enough to catch the woman's attention.

She slowly leaned her head over Gojo, her sunny smile turning upside down.

Purposely avoiding eye contact, I pretended to be looking at my phone. I fought the urge to laugh at the thought that Gojo told this woman his name was Tunka. The corners of my mouth twitched until I couldn't help but make a thin smile.

"And who are you?"

Pretending to just notice her presence, I looked side to side, then gestured to myself with a question on my face.

"Yes you! Who else would I be looking at?"

The woman, Yula, swiftly moved around Gojo, staring me down.
