A loud ringing sound startled me, my body flinching.
It was my phone.
Gojo didn't move, nor did he loosen his hold on me.
I cleared my throat as I reached for my phone, relieved by the interruption.
"Y/n, sorry for calling this late but I realized I needed to give you a few details about tomorrow's mission. Knowing Gojo, he probably didn't tell you much."
It was Nanami's voice.
I tried to find the words, any words.
"Uh, yeah okay."
"If you're not busy."
I glanced up to Gojo, who finally gave up as he lifted his hands from my waist. Staring at the ground, he put his hands in his pockets.
"Um, no. I'm not busy. So what's up- I mean what exactly do I need to know."
I gazed out the window, taking in the beauty of the brilliant glow of the moon.
Nanami continued to talk to me, but half his words didn't connect with my thoughts. My brain still stuck in one thought, my heart only slowly calming down.
A soft thud came from the front of the room. I turned to see the door closed, Gojo gone.
"Y/n? Are you there?" Nanami brought back my attention.
