"they're here! the real movie stars!" Gino yells loudly as soon as I step out of the car.

"The biggest band on the planet!" I finish and pull him into hug when he walks up to me.

We both had a One Direction phase and found out when we met that we also both learned the whole dialogue for Best Song Ever's music video. Sometimes we do shit like this because we think it's funny.

It's not very funny.

I close my door, "I love da direction," We say in unison.

"So what's happening, baby? Any new juice for me?"

"Juice," I give him a side eyed look and we make our way into the mall entrance.

Gino said he needed a new outfit for a date he has on Friday but I think he just wants to know everything going on with Nick and I.

"Yeah, juice. I think tea is overused and I like juice better. Specifically of the grape variety. And more specifically, with alcohol." He responds, grabbing the door handle and holding it open for me.

"Thanks, fair point I guess." I laugh and roll my eyes at him. "Um, Nick told his friends. Like Dream and George, about us dating."

Gino's brows raise in surprise.

"Wow, really? I'm actually surprised." He starts walking towards the H&M and I follow behind him.

Longer legs means longer strides so i'm struggling to keep up, thanks G.

"Hm, well they are like his best friends." I mumble while looking at a Slipknot t-shirt right inside the entrance.

"That's true, I guess, but knowing him–"

"Sap would look hot as fuck in this shirt," I cut off Gino and scan the t-shirt once more, "I'm buying it."

As I look through the stack to find the Large I take small glances at my friend, "Sorry keep talking."

"Jesus fuck, you're literally buying this man's clothes. How wrapped around his finger does he have you?"

I can only laugh because Gino's right. I am wrapped around his finger.

"I'm just being a nice boyfriend, okay?" I say, taking notice to the brunette girl eyeing us a few racks down.

I make eye contact with her and she smiles which is when I realize who it is.

"Hey Corey," She says kindly while walking up to me.

"Lacey, hey," I respond opening my arms for a hug. "How have you been?"

She wraps her arms around me for a moment before we break the slightly awkward hug.

"I've been great, actually. I'm studying law, surprise surprise," She says jokingly.

Lacey is my ex-girlfriend from high school. Very weird time, very weird relationship. We didn't know what we were doing half the time and always argued. I think my habit of lying too well came from this relationship.
