I woke up, ready to start my journey today. Since Dad is working until late tonight today and Chad has already gone to his friends house, it'll be easier to run away for no one is in my way.
After showering and dressing into clothes, I grabbed my pack and started filling it with the stuff on my list. I then went into my Mom's old room and grabbed her debit card and the money in her treasure box. Since I was 18, I had a car and I had my licences to drive, so transportation would be easier.I ran into our garage and found the hidden safe that held my parents legal files. I shuffled through them before finding her will, for if I was accused of stealing.
My savings will go to my eldest child, Aria Whitman. She will get all of my money and my car. (which is pointless) My husband will keep the house and my son, Chad, will get it once he turns 18.
As I reentered my room, I grabbed my suitcase and filled it with clothes, socks, underwear, and shoes. Then, I went into the laundry room and grabbed laundry detergent and drier sheets. I packed some food into my bag, along with some in my cooler with ice in it. I gathered my things and put them in the car, then I went back in and grabbed a picture of me and my Mom and set the note on the counter, grabbing a sweater on my way out.
I got in my car and started it, though it felt more like starting my adventure, igniting my fresh start, my new life.
I didn't know if I should've been as excited as I was for leaving home, forever, but I was actually quite happy, nervous, but happy.
I drove all day. When I became way to tired to continue driving all night, I found a hotel. I went ahead and rented the hotel out for only tonight, since I still had two more days of driving until I reached LA, where Ashly is. Then it hit me, I still haven't told Ashly about me running away. I received my key from the exhausted lady at the counter and carried both my suitcase and my backpack into the elevator.
When I reached the floor my room was in, I stepped out, rolling my gigantic suitcase and my backpack. I looked at my phone seeing it was 10pm, so I set an alarm on my phone for 8am, leaving me to get plenty of rest before leaving again.
I unlocked the door and laid my bags down. I unzipped my suitcase and pulled out some sweatpants and a white tank top. I pulled out my laptop and turned off the lights. I walked over and sat in the queen size bed, pulling the covers over my legs. I slid my laptop onto my lap and turned on Netflix. After scrolling, I decided to watch Expelled. Immediately, I fell in love with Felix, so I went on my phone and searched to see who posted Felix. Come to find out, his name was Cameron and he was 20 years old, only two years older then me!
When the movie was over I shut my laptop and tucked it away, then I shut my eyes to sleep.
Yay! So here's another chapter for you to enjoy(hopefully). Also, Cameron won't come in for a little.
