I had been laying awake for hours. I had woken up at like 2am and it was now currently 6am and I haven't fallen back asleep. I just later there, motionless, staring at the hotel ceiling(cue the music!) while being tired and groaning. I really didn't want to drive all day, but I would arrive in LA tonight. I pulled out my phone and called Ashly.
"What?" She groaned. She obviously didn't want to be wakened from her "beauty sleep".
"I... Umm... I kinda r-r-ran away-way?" I said.
"Omg! Really?!?!" She screamed.
"I'm coming to LA, I want to know if I can stay with you." I said.
"Of course you can stay with me! Whenever you need to you can come to my house!" She said.
"Are you sure your parents are okay with it?" I asked.
"Are you kidding? My parent love you, they even complain because I can't find another friend like you! They'd be more then happy for you to stay!" She said. Her parents did love me and always invited me to there house to do a bunch of stuff!
"Thank you so much! You're the best friend I could ever have! Have I told you I love you before? Because I love you Ashly!" I yelled into the phone.
"It's no problem, really, well I have to get ready for school, by!" She told me.
I put my phone down and stood up. I took a long warm shower, enjoying every minute because it was supposed to be super cold today. I turned off the water and stepped out, then grabbing a towel and wrapping it under my armpits. I unzipped my suitcase and grabbed a white and black polka-dotted sweater with some black legging/sweatpants type thing. I brushed my teeth and hair, then braiding it into a loose side braid. I put on some black uggs and put all of my stuff into my suitcase and backpack and walked out. I slung my floral print backpack onto my shoulders and checked out of the hotel.
I smiled at the thought that today was my last day of driving. Don't get me wrong, I love driving and having the freedom to go places myself, but driving 12 hours for three days straight is very tiring.
I put my suitcase in the trunk and got on my car, setting my bag down on the floor of the car. I buckled up and put the keys into the ignition. I drive off and pulled onto the highway. I was super hungry, so I looked for signs of places that sounded good to eat.
When I found a sign that read "Sonic" I pulled off the highway and into the line for the drive-threw.
"Hello, how may I help you?"
"I would like to order a large coffee with half and half and 3 packets of sugar." I said (this is actually
"Okay, is that all?" She asked.
"I would also like a breakfast burrito with sausage." I said.
"Is that all?" She said.
"Yes" I replied and drove to the window in front of me.
"That will be $14.94" the lady said. I took out a $10 bill and a $5 bill and handed it to the lady. She grabbed a bag and handed it to me. I pulled into a parking place and ate my burrito and drank all my coffee. I put my trash in a plastic bag and drive onto the highway.
Then I remembered why Ashly moved to LA. They adopted a kid my age and needed more room for him/her and decided on LA so they didn't have to drive up there, adopt him/her, pack all his/her things, then move the kid. I don't know the gender because Ashly is keeping it a surprise for me. Why would she keep it a surprise? Because she knows I hate surprises and it's her "job" to get me used to the things I hate. But I thought it was a boy because God knows she would tell me if she had a younger sister to torture. Ashly is older then me and lived next door to me. She is 18.
"Get on exit 42 in point three miles" my GPS said.
"Now take a right onto South boulevard road." She continued.
"Your destination is on your left" she said. It was about 7:30pm. I exited my car and walked up the pathway to there door. I knocked before being answered by a boy I had seen before.
Cliffhanger!!! Guess who the boy is!
