I literally thought that John wouldn't get me back, so I was wrong. You know? Some boys come and go, realizing they need you by their side.

"I'm sorry"
I apologized to John looking at him right in his attractive eyes.
"It's okay baby girl, all is forgiven."
He kisses me in the cheek.
I smiled closed my eyes and tumbled on the stage floor.
"Uh oh, Alyson wake up!!"
John shook my arm.
"Haha I had a girl moment there.... Hehe."
I got back up.
"Wow... Love your suit, haven't seen you dress in like that before.."
I commented.
"You look beautiful tonight, may I escort you to the dance floor?"
John takes out his arm ANF folds it.
"Why yes."
I hooked my arm to John's as we marched downstairs.
I stared at Cameron.
"As if."
I scoffed and slapped him in the face.
"VOTES ARE OPEN FOR THE PROM KING AND QUEEN."
Mr. Hall (principal) announced.
I made a song request for the DJ, so everyone could enjoy it.
"Bro, change it to Whatcha Say Jason Derulo."
I requested.
"Right away, Carter."
The DJ turned on my jam as everyone danced along and enjoyed it. Who cares if it's old? It's still trending on Vine and Twitter.
-10 MINUTES LATER-
The song ended, so it was the
DJ's choice, the slow dance begun. Andrea came towards me.
"Told you he'll come with you!"
She winked.
"The Magical Andrea has Spoken."
"Haha, clever."
I smirked.
"What's happening?"
John asks.
"Long story."
I wrapped my arms around John, he wrapped his arms around my hips.
"I can't believe I'm with the most beautiful girl in the world, I would never trade her in with another girl. You're my only, Alyson."
John smiles.
I placed my head on his shoulder.
"I love you so much Alyson, you mean everything to me."
He stares and smiles at me.
"I love you too."
We continued on slow dancing.
Andrea gave me a thumbs up while she was dancing, Bella smiled at me, Audrey symbolized a peace sign with her two fingers.
I'm really happy for those girls.
But then I saw Janelle and Claire in the corner, also Jae with a boy that I don't know.
The slow dance was over, so I held onto John's warm hand.
"THE VOTING LINE HAS BEEN CLOSED, EVERYONE VOTED."
Mr. Hall says with happiness.
"Ladies first."
Mr. Hall took an index card from Clara.
"The Prom Queen this year is..."
*DRUMROLL*
........ Alyson Carter!
I was surprised...
"Alyson Carter come to me please!"
I covered my mouth then walked to Mr. Hall.
He gave me a sash, roses, and a crown.
I just stood up there, John was applauding for me also.
I waited patiently for the King.
Mr. Hall took another index card from Anthony.
"The Prom King for this year is..."
*DRUMROLL*
........ John Neil Rodis!
WOAH. Never knew that will happen, it came out unexpectedly.
He came up to Mr. Hall. He only got a crown. We both held hands. Then raised them up in the air.
"Thank you everyone for showing up at this wonderful Prom evening! Thanks to the crew that set this up, food, music and other! Have fun, Prom ends at 9:00 P.M!"
Mr. Hall made a speech.
"Wait, the King speaks this year! Give it up for John!"
*APPLAUSE*
John tapped on the mic.
"H-hello."
He stutters.
"Thank you all for choosing me, since I didn't really like being Prom King. But it's totally fine."
"There's this girl.. Who has been in my life for about 3 months now, I never gave up on her. She never let me down, she would always be there for me.. One day I started to like her, I doubted that I wouldn't be with her. Compare that to now, I wanted you, I liked you, I got you. I love you.."
I had some tears of joy. Everyone also had a moment, he just made my day.
"The girl that im talking about, her name is Alyson.
My one and only."
"I also thank you all for being here, you mean a lot. Especially my friends, classmates and other. So right now I'm ending this speech cause I clearly have nothing else to say."
John gave back the microphone to Mr. Hall, then took a step backward beside me.
I whispered to John
"That was a beautiful first speech John."
I complimented.
"Jealous?"
He smirks.
"Maybe."
I chuckled.
"Now let's continue on with the prom!"
Mr. Hall places the microphon back on its place. He exits the gym and walks to his office.
"John!"
Justin and Jordan called his name.
I walked to my Squad.
Jae, Audrey, Andrea, Janelle, Bella and Claire were leaning against the gym wall.
"Your boyfriend made a speech, I'm seriously having some feels at the moment.."
Bella hugged me.
"Thanks guys."
I smiled.
"GROUP HUG!"
Claire suggested.
"I was going to ask out Calum but Claire wanted him so we had a little fight but now Calum is all annoyed and crap like that, so we forgave each other."
Janelle explained.
"Yeah."
Claire put her arm behind Janelle's.
"We're pretty aight now."
Janelle patted Claire in the shoulder.
"Let's take some pictures now guys! So we will all remember memories from this year."
We all took pictures of our dates too, but mostly our squad 😎

Very sorry to theCloudx and foreverxshai for not giving Calum to one of you, because ily and I don't want you two to react like "oh, she has Calum!" I'm soo sorry!
