Alyson's P.O.V
After the trip to the beach, we all went back home.
"Come to the hospital bro!"
Shawn texted me.
"I'm coming!"
I rapidly grabbed my keys and my hand bag. Out to my car.
10 MINUTES LATER
I ran inside the Watterson Hospital and checked in as a visitor.
"Alyson Cater, right?"
The office lady corrects my name.
"Yes, I'd like to check in for my mom, Alyssa Carter."
I accidentally dropped my keys on the floor, yes I'm so worried about my mom.
"Okay definitely. She's in Room 104."
"Thank you."
I ran as fast.. As I could to the room where my mom is located at. I faced towards the door, and took a deep breath. I went inside.
All I saw was, my mom has an oxygen tube (or mask, whichever you prefer). She was really pale, Dr. Todd was checking her blood pressure and all of those medical stuff that I barely know.
"Hi.. Dr. Todd."
I scratched my head as I went inside the room.
"Alyson! I've been expecting you. I appreciate your respect towards your mother."
Dr. Todd clicks his blue ball point pen continuously.
"Her pulse is going great and her blood pressure. But it's just that she began to overdose and swallow up fluids. Has your mom been to a night club?"
Dr. Todd points out his clip board, and asked me those questions.
"Um, all I know is that she told Shawn and I that she had to go to New York for her meeting."
I explained, Shawn sat down beside mom just staring at her.
"Okay, that's all I have to know. Just curious."
Dr. Todd gave me a smile, then a pat on the back.
Dr. Todd left the room, so Shawn and I will have the maximum of 5 minutes to talk to my mom. Mom opened her eyes.. Miraculously, and slowly.
"Alyson? Shawn?"
She points out Shawn as me, and me as Shawn. We switched places.
"It's us."
Shawn says.
"P-pass me water please."
Mom stutters.. As I gave her water.
"Thank you."
She drank ALL the water in like a second. Was pretty weird.
"I'm sorry."
She holds our hands and massages them.
"For what?"
I asked.
"I'm just sorry."
Her voice became a little quiet..
I was all confused.
"I love you.."
Mom's voice dropped low. A sound effect from her heart pulse dropped down..
"MOM PLEASE NO! MOM WAKE UP!!"
I cried on my mom's chest. Crying for her just to see her one more time.
"She's gone.."
Shawn had a little tear drop on his face.
I stood up with my phone on.
"What are you doing Alyson?"
Shawn asked with his right eyebrow raised up.
"Just texting the usual."
I texted them without capitals,
"come to the hospital room 104 immediately. 😞"
I sent it.. And cried continuously.
Shawn called the doctor, he came in right away.
"Dr. Todd, we lost her."
I cried even harder.
"I'm sorry Carter."
He gave me a tissue box full of tissues, so I grabbed a bunch and wiped my ugly mess.
My friends came in,

We all formed a circle, surrounding my mom. Dr. Todd placed a huge burlap rug on her, I cried. So much.
We all held hands, and sang a song.

After that, we had a group hug. The girls was completely sad, except for what you call the boys, the 'tough nuts'
(not really.. lol jk)
"I'm so sorry girl."
Janelle and Andrea gave me a huge hug,
Jae, Audrey, Bella and Claire just tagged along.
"I don't know anymore."
I wiped my tears.
The guys just patted me in the back while John just gave me a long hug.
"How are you feeling?"
He whispers.
"I'm okay.."
I whispered back.
"I know you're not."
He looks at me in the eye.
