Since it was Spring Break, I was planning on Claire's surprise party today. I called in Andrea, Janelle and Alyson to help me plan. Bella and Audrey were buying decorations for her birthday.
*PHONE RINGS*
"Hello?"
I answered.
"Hi."
I heard Alyson's voice.
"Hey! Got the stuff ready?"
I asked.
"Yeah. Hold on, I'm about to pick up Andrea and Janelle."
"Okay."
"Bye!"
"See ya."
I hung up and sat down on the couch.
"ATE!!"
My little brother screams.
"WHAT!"
I yelled back.
"I uhhh clogged the toilet."
Emmanuel pulled my arm.
"Can you declog it?"
He pulls my arm harder.
"Fine."
Emmanuel dragged me to the bathroom, I looked in the toilet.
"There's nothing here."
Emmanuel closes the bathroom door.
"UGH UEL WHY."
Emmanuel laughs behind the bathroom door.
I opened the bathroom door a minute later, found him sleeping on the hardwood floor.
I grabbed his arm and dragged him up the stairs. Then carried him to his bedroom. He slept awkwardly.
Andrea, Janelle and Alyson rang the doorbell as I quickly ran to the door.
"Shhh! Uel is sleeping."
"Oh okay."
Alyson says.
"Come in guys."
I closed the door.
"Are you in a hurry or something?"
Andrea asks.
"I don't want Claire to see this."
I explained.
We all walked quietly to the dining room.
"So, how do we break in to Claire's house?"
Janelle asks.
"Easy.... Using a crowbar."
Alyson gave a stupid answer.
"Hell no, try not to be violent there, Alyson."
Andrea stated.
"Aw, fine."
Alyson folded her arms.
"Anyone have spare keys?"
I asked.
"Well..."
Andrea and Janelle gestured.
"Wait I have a key to her house! She gave me an extra one cause whenever she's grounded, I can unlock her window or her front door."
Alyson explained.
"Bingo."
Janelle snapped.
"You drive Alyson?"
I fetched my keys to Alyson.
"Okay."
She catches the keys.
It was so hot outside in Florida that we used the Air Conditioning in my car.
"Ughhh it's so hot!"
Andrea took out her fan.
"We're here guys. Just in case we parked in the back at her house since Claire isn't home yet I could tell by not answerin my text messages."
Alyson pointed out Claire's window.
"There's a ladder."
Janelle quietly carried the ladder which lined up exactly at the window.
"Alyson, make sure the coast is clear."
"Aight."
I followed Alyson leading to Claire's bedroom window.
"Hold on I'm going to unlock the window."
I timed Alyson to unlock the window, don't judge me cause I was bored.
"Gotcha."
She went inside tip toeing.
"Nice, 14 seconds!"
I accidentally yelled.
"SHHHH!"
Andrea covered my mouth as Janelle went behind Andrea's back.
Alyson's P.O.V

I heard footsteps coming through the upstairs.
"CA CAW!"
I mimicked the parrot's voice.
"HIDE!"
Jae whispered, she went under the bed.
Andrea and Janelle hid in Claire's big bins while I hid behind her bookcase.
I forgot to take the bag which was full of supplies!
So I quickly ran to Claire's table and went back to my hiding spot.
Claire's dad opened the door, staring around the room creepily. A few moments later, he assumed to close the door meaning there was no sign of anything.
"Phew."
I wiped my hand on my forehead.
"What a relief."
Andrea sat down on a beanbag chair.
"So, plan?"
Janelle asks.
"Well, here it is."
I took out the Manila paper filled with drawings on what we should do in order to decorate Claire's bedroom for her birthday.
"We only got 4 hours guys."
Jae looks upon her watch.
"Let's go team."
We all put our hands in the middle.
"RATCHET."
We all whispered.
