Break up

Janice's POV

I wake up on a bright Monday morning by a call from an old friend of mine.

"Janice!" He yelled.

"Why are you shouting?"

"The Beatles are breakin up!" When I heard this, I was shocked by the unfortunate turn out of the world's greatest band.

It was 1970, people were hippies and all about peace and love so John married Yoko.... For love....

The news was bad but it was also good. Good for each of the Beatles. The break up would allow each of their music to be discovered. Then they would be more appreciated by the masses. They would all have the chance to show the world that the Beatles was a band of four brilliant young men whose works are yet to be shown.

The best part was, I get to spend more time with me best mate and his fam. They were an amazing family. Pattie was always sweet and nice and so open to me and Dhani was really playful and happy all the time.

"Care to join me on a trip to the Bahamas?" He asked after a long period of silence.

"Isnt that the place where you filmed Help?"

"Yeah. Wanna go? Ya can bring Gabrielle if you ya want to." He said with slight tone of excitement.

"Sure. But isnt Dhani and Gabe too young to travel?" I wasnt sure but I didnt want to risk anything.

"Maybe, I dont know. Oh well, just bring yerself and yer guy and meet us at the airport Wednesday morning at 4:00. See ya there, dont be late." He hung up after reminding me not to be late.

I was thinking of maybe leaving Gabrielle with her Aunt Jess or with Uncle Hugh. I mean, they were my siblings but I might be asking too much. But then again, I had no choice becausr I already accepted George's invitation to the Bahamas. So I phone Jess and Hugh.

"Hey Jess? Can you do me a favor and look after my girl for 5 days?"

"Hey Jan, I'm sorry but I cant, I have a business trip to Canada."

"Ok thanks anyways."

The call only lasted for about a good 20 seconds. Then I phoned Hugh.

"Hey Hugh, are you free this Wednesday to Sunday?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Can you do me a favor and look after Gabe?"

"Sure! Of course. Why dont you bring here here tomorrow morning so you can pack for your 5 day vaca."

"How did you know?"

"I just know....... Ok see ya tomorrow!"

Okay, Gabe was fine with Hugh. Now I just have to ask Tom to come with me to the trip. I entered our bedroom and saw Tom was getting ready to go to work.

"Hey babe!" He called. I sat down next to him and he wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer. He smiled and gave me a kiss on the lips. He was the best kisser ever!

"Would you go with me on a trip to the Bahamas?"

"Whose invite?"

"George and Pattie."

"Of course I would. They are the nicest people."
"You dont think that George is flirting with me?" I asked accidentally.

"Why would I think that? The lad is married and he knows that you're happy. They just want to have fun."

The next parts will be when Gabe is already 13 and she already has a crush on Geo....
