Just in Time for Tea (A Dhani Harrison Fanfic)

Gabe's POV

When we got home (after we went back to get the medicines), Dhani and UNCLE GEORGE stayed for a while. They said that they'd stay only after some dinner. We didnt really do much. The whole afternoon consisted of me and Dhani napping and UNCLE GEORGE and mom talking.

Me and Dhani only talked for about 20 minutes then I fell asleep. We were on the roof talkin about how we wanted our lives to turn out. We havent got anythin in mind, really. Its all just to have a life of laughter and just plain life.

We were layin there on a sheet of cloth and some pillows that we brought up. We just laid there on the roof talkin about crazy stuff.

"So you just want to live for 80 years?" Dhani asked.

"Yeah, that'll be enough to make a legend out of me."

"I wanna live for as long as I can." He boasted.

"Really? What if an ax murderer kills ye first?"

"That..... I dont know." He scratched his head.

"What about a career?" I started.

"What about it?"

"What kind of career do you want?" I continued.

"Musical one, I guess." He replied.

"I dont really know what I wanna be when I grow up. I dont even wanna grow up."

"Same. Being fourteen sure makes us feel old, doesnt it?"

"Yeah it does!" We laughed but in seconds, all I heard was Dhani breathing and the wind blowing through me skin.

I looked at Dhani and he already had his eyes closed. I didn know what to do..... So as a normal girl would do, I just stared....... At his beautiful face.....

"Stop starin!" Dhani said still with his eyes closed.

"How did you know I was starin?"

"I just know...." Really?????? who are you, Charles xavier????? Really though...... I feel like he's messin with me head.......

"Is it true that you guys are Illuminati?" random question just came out of me horrid mouth. Ugh! Me so dumb!!!

"Why would you think that?" he opened his eyes and turned to me giving me a what the f look.

"A guy at the record store told me the Harrisons are Illuminati. He even told me to stay as far away from you as possible. Even dad agreed to it. But when I asked mom, she said that those creeps are just there to creep me out so I didnt mind them. So now I just want to know if it's true or not." I tried to explain to him as clearly as possible but it still seemed to be unclear.

"Fine, if it means that much to ye. We arent Illuminati people and we are most certainly not creeps of some sort, we're just normal human beings like the rest of you are. Nothin special and nothin different."

"Alright then."

Dhani's POV

We sat there on the roof to leave the adults to their private convo downstairs. It wasnt long before Gabe and I have fallen to a deep slumber.

~Dreamland~

I wake up to a land filled with colorful trees and colorful skies and everything. I started to walk around and found a river surrounded by tangerine trees. And rockin horse people with some marshmallow pies sitting on their table. A girl suddenly calls me from behind a tree when newspaper taxis appeared on the shore of the rivier.

I honestly wasnt surprised. Dad has told me some of these stories while I was growin up. He said that one day I'll get to experience these things and when I do, I have to write about it or else it will become horror.

So I took a pen and a paper and sat with the horse people and wrote a song about these. Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds came up. It was a song dad and his old band wrote. It was exactly like my dream. (for those who dont gets..... LSD is a drug and Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds by John Lennon has no relation to the LSD drug. The song was made for Julian because he drew a girl from his nursery....i think........ Named Lucy, in a sky with diamonds. The paper was filled with drawing of the lyrics of the song so John made a song with all the details of Julian's work....)

I followed the girls voice and it lead me to a small station. It was a weird lookin station. I found the girl sitting on one of the benches waiting for the train.

" 'scuse me madam...." I began.

"Why did you call me?" I asked.

"I wanted to tell you............"

~end of dream~

Noooooooooo!!!!! What was she goin to say????????? I thought. I really wanted to hear what she was goin to say, but Gabe just comes on and shook me awake.

"Hey, whats up." I tried to hide the anger.

"You were kind of freakin me out while you were sleepin...."

"Oh? How so?"

"You werent breathing properly. And you groaned several times so I decided to wake you."

What the hell was she talkin about? My dream was amazing. I wasnt AT ALL scared.

"Really?" I asked in confusion.

"Yeah, what was your dream about anyway?"

"I think it was about Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds." Her face was in shock so I had to explain meself. "I mean like the song, never did I take any drugs, if that's what yer thinkin." I continued.

"Wanna go in and grab some cookies?" She suggested. I mean, I was kinda hungry....

"Sure, I'll follow ye down." She stood up and got the pillows leavin me to meself. I didnt know why I wanted to be alone though.

I was thinkin of what Gabe thinks of me. I really really liked her and but I was too young. We're only freakin 14 for Pete's sake! I wanted her to be as close to me as I can so she knows that she can trust me. So in time, I can tell her how I really feel about her and she'll have enough trust in me to me how she feels. but she was my friend and I didnt want to scare her off. We needed more time to think of this. This feeling is probably just hormones......

After a few more seconds, I stood up and used the same window Gabe and I used to get to the roof which was the window to her room. I sort of stayed there for a while and observed her stuff. I liked the way her things are really tidied up and not as messy as mine.

I went down for some cookies. As I walked down, I heard dad and Janice talkin about us.

"Gabe is such a great kid and I see that Dhani has some likin for her." Dad said.

"I know! can you see the chemistry between them? they are so cute!!!!"

"Yeah, they were like us when we were little." Dad whispers and a complete silence was made.

"I miss those times Georgie." Janice mumbled in a sad tone.

"Me too."

"I wish that it lasted." Janice really liked me dad and there was no doubt about that.

"Well, we can always be like kids again. Play outside and do all sorts of stuff like we used to." Dad was really bad at this.... just sayin.

"What about the kids?" Janice asked.

"We can leave them to there mom and dad."

"Right, Tom and Pattie. I'm sure Dhani and Gabe would love to spend a whole week at home." Janice said in excitement.

"Not at home, luv. At the Bahamas." Dad said. Bahamas???? are you crazy?????

"I thought we were going to the Bahamas...." Janice says in a confused tone.

"Nah, we went there already after the break up, remember? We're goin to Barbados."

Lucky parents go to the Barbados....... at least I had a week with Gabe!!!!
