For eternity

It was a sunny monday afternoon. The wind was blowing softly and leaves were swaying from side to side without a care in the world.
Everything seemed peaceful. Like the calm before the storm...

Daniel was bored out of his mind. He had finished his homework (with a bit of complications) and now he just looks out of the window, wondering what he should do.

Though, it seems like Enu caught onto Daniels boredom and sensed a bit of ominous negative energy from him.
But why?
Who knows.

Well anyway, Enu decided that she was sick of the tention in the air and quickly walked up to Daniel with her leash in her mouth, signalising that she wants to go outside.
Daniel looked at her sighing softly. " You wanna go outside?"
Enu waged her tail and licked Daniels face, making him chuckle.

"Okay fine, not like I have anything better to do... But I have to change first, okay?"
After finishing his sentence he put on a gray T-shirt, a pair of black sweatpants and sport shoes. He connected the leash to Enu's collar and went outside with her, definitely not forgetting to lock the door behind them.

After jogging a while in the park and waiting for time to pass, Daniel met someone familiar.

"Johan?"

Johan, startled slightly, just stared a bit at Daniel before replying "Daniel....Hi."
There stood Johan with his dog, Eden, with what looked oddly like a frown on his adorable face.

Enu and eden glared at eachother since they didn't really like one another. I mean, they have  fought before.

Clearing his throat, Daniel smiled. "I didn't think i'd meet you here! Are you out for a jog, too?"

"Yeah...Jogging with Eden helps calm my mind. You're doing the same with..."

"Enu!" Daniel said, grinning.
After a few seconds daniel realised that It was kinda pointless to ask Johan what he was out doing since you could clearly see him wearing excercise clothes.
Daniel flushed a light shade of red, seeing that he asked a stupid question. Maybe Johan really was an angel, not making fun of him for his momentary stupidity...
It didn't make it better that he accidentally kept glaring at Johan's chest.

His shirt was a bit tight, but not too tight. Just tight enough to show the outlines his abs and look a bit stretched. What a nice fabric...
Johan, who noticed him staring, only gave him a slightly amused smile that you couldn't really see. But it was clearly visible for Daniel.

"Something wrong?" Johan asked the flustered man before him.

"Y-Yeah, yeah? Oh, Of...of course not!"

Averting his gaze, Daniel now tried to distract himself with anything and everything that wasn't Johan.

He really  wanted to escape this situation since it became quite awkward, at least for him. There was a weird awkwardness in the air.
(Or was he just the only one imagining that?)

Suddenly, Daniel had a brilliant idea! If he wanted to spend more time with Johan now, then they could just have a race or walk together! Genius, Daniel, Genius!

"So, uhm, you want to walk a bit with me?"

"Sure." Short and precise answers, as always. Adorable.

There was a long awkward silence, so daniel wracked his head by coming up with anything and everything to break it.

"So....how are you?" He mumbled with a smile that didn't reach his eyes, cheeks flushed.

Johan looked at him for a brief second, as if thinking, before saying "Fine, I guess. And you?"

"I'm fine too! Thanks for asking!"
