A disarray of constellations and twilights illuminated the obsidian of the night the secret lovers lay under. The softness of the shooting green tips of the grass cushioned each other, the quiet hush of the youth's whispered promises and murmured sentences of love and adoration swept away alongside the cool breeze of the night.
Padme's head lay snugly within the familiar crook of Anakin's neck, inhaling his scent, one she so utterly cherished. A mixture of honey and ash which forever did not fail to set her bursting heart aflame. His arm had wrapped its way rightfully around her waist whilst the other arm was left wringing through her brunette curls delicately while he pressed tender kisses across the smooth skin of her cheek and jaw.
Nothing much was said between the two, as they did not need words to convey what they were feeling. The mere presence of one another was enough to tell tales and express a thousand thoughts at once. The insurmountable amount of respect and admiration that the two secret lovers held for one another was beyond the scope of imagination. A slight glance from cerulean to honey deciphered the inner conflictions and emotions so easily.
"Ani" she whispered against him, her fingers tracing random patterns across the broad plain of his chest.
"Hm" he uttered, signifying he was listening yet still continued his pursuit of affection.
"I wish we could stay like this forever..." she began with a sigh. "No jedi, no council, no one to tell us we can't be together. Just me and you, forever"
Anakin had slowly stopped his stroking of her locks and lifted her head from his neck, looking down at her solemn face for a moment, before connecting his lips with hers deeply.
"Mhmm.." she sighed against his lips as she allowed herself to be devoured by the sinful pleasure of his touch, his affection and his being. She clutched on tightly to his tunic as he gripped her jaw, kissing her with more fervour and passion, trying to convey in that one kiss how deeply and truly he felt.
After a few moments he broke the kiss as they were both gasping for breath, he lay his forehead on hers, looking deeply into her honey pot pools as he swam deeply in them, with no escape of looking away from the hypnotic beauty of his lover. Her hazel curls lay sprawled against the grass below him, the moonlight shining on her beautiful face creating a pearly glow upon her serene complexion.
"So fucking beautiful" he thought to himself, awed at the goddess of an angel his lover was.
She looked at him with a small smile on her plump lips, a look so full of devotion and reverence it made his heart swell with joy.
Anakin finally broke the silence and whispered "There is nothing I would want more in this galaxy than to run away with you, start afresh and be the father to your child. Start a family with you and have the most beautiful of children and you, Padme, would be the most amazing of mothers. Words cannot describe how much of a role model you are to so many people, your position on the council and impact and change you help to accomplish never fails to astound me. The way you always prioritise others first before yourself, because you're so selfless and so fucking kind it's inspiring. No wonder I fell for you hard, and I wish more than anything in this world to tell everyone I get the pleasure of calling you mine. But I know you would probably scold me for being irrational, which I'm thankful for as I would have no clue what to do without you keeping me in check all the time. But one day I swear me and you will live a life without secrecy and without all this deception because if anything Padme my one wish is to love you freely, no restraints and no rules holding me back from truly calling you mine. Eternally."
As soon as he finished, he looked down to see Padme with a stream of tears down her face.
"Oh Ani, I love you so so much" she said as she pulled him down and attacked him with kisses as Anakin just laughed at her sappiness.
"I love you too, Padme."

hello all that is still reading to this day omg! i'm so grateful for the votes and bookmarks y'all still do and it brightens my day. i know it has been like centuries since i've updated but tbh i have had a very hectic couple of months with no time whatsoever to write. i mostly update when i feel like it, which is mainly when i am bored lol. but hopefully more updates in the future soon? i am also running out of one-shot ideas to write about so please if you do have any suggestions i would very much appreciate it as it gives me the motivation to continue this series. please comment and let me know your thoughts! reviews would be highly appreciated :D
