The bronze scope of the sun slowly sunk down the Coruscanti skyline, emitting vast shadows of tan rays upon the majestic capital. A distinction of soft pearl clouds scattered over the ombre sky, a gentle mix of peach and yellow combined painted the beautiful atmosphere. The lively buzz commencing outside the grandness of the city disputed a persistent feeling of anticipation and commotion. Living in such a tremendous area which constantly screamed unrest would certainly taint ones mental state of mind, but of course it had grown into a normality for those who chose to simply ignore the indigenous hustle, despite the major overwhelming emotion the city had on those who were newly acquainted. However, for Senator Amidala, she had grown up with the strain of vexation ever since she was the Queen of Naboo, so there was no need for her to act as though this burden had been new, as she had been taught to comply with environments like these.

That was not to say that she had not noticed it of course, she was fully aware of the hectic aura within the city, and it did bother her a great deal, but there was really nothing she could do. She would always compare Coruscant with Naboo, how different the two were, Naboo being peaceful and natural whereas Coruscant just all felt artifical and uncomfortable. Naboo always was within her heart, her people were there, her family and friends were and most importantly she fell in love with her husband there. There were many fond memories Padme stored within her elegant homeland that she will forever cherish in the depths of her heart, she is most certain of it.

Padme had just returned from an unsuccessful day at the Senate, her failed attempt to negotiate with the Chancellor about a dealing with a planet desperately in need for supplies had not went well. She was fully responsible for ensuring the planet that the meeting will go to plan, and Padme was positive that the Chancellor would approve of her request to do so. But she was awfully wrong.

How could the Chancellor be so blind, in all the years of her working with him, she had never seen him conduct such a blind eye to such a significant matter. She clearly misunderstood this outcome, and it boiled her blood.

"How could the Chancellor have the nerve!" she spoke aloud to no one in particular. It was alright though as she was sitting in the confinements of her 500 Republica apartment, pondering frustratingly at the lack of compliance the Chancellor had to this subject.

She was dressed in a comfortable attire, a deep navy cropped cami top made of satin which showed a slight strip of her olive skin, alongside a high waist satin skirt which reached the floor and flowed slightly, mimicking the same navy blue colour. She was wrapped in a cropped black cape of silk reaching the width of her hips. Her hair was in a half up half down style, although a few of her brunette tendrils still managed to frame her exquisite face as she decorated her hair with a black headband .

She had placed herself comfortably on her pistachio green couch as she read an article about the state of the planet she was supposed to help with the support of the Chancellor on her datapad. It broke her heart as she read the terrible things displayed to her, they could have been helped, all they needed was a few replenishments and credits and they would be happily on their way of rebuilding their broken economy from the ongoing war. However, the Chancellor would not see through as he supposedly told her that more useful planets were in need of these supplies and they just did not seek enough for the one she was fighting for.

"What a load of crap" she thought to herself.

Of course they had enough, that was just a poor excuse from the Chancellor to not help those planets that heed little relevance to war, but none the less the Republic was supposed to maintain balance and equality within the galactic system, not pick and choose favourites, and that was exactly what the Chancellor was doing. Of course Padme tried to openly console the Chancellor of his poor of an excuse, a brave action many would consider, but Padme always stood for what she believed was right, and she was not going to accept his reasoning so easily. But much to Padme's dismay, it had seemed as though no one agreed with her, which disappointed her even more, her colleagues lack of faith in her irritated her further.
