CHAPTER 10

Part 3

Sarah's POV

This is the last part to chapter 10, I promise. :D

I snapped out of my dream immediately.

What had just happened? Athena and Poseidon and oh my gods!

That kid. It had to have been Ocean!

"We are here m'am." the taxi driver informed Annabeth.

We filled out of the cab and entered the library.

Annabeth eagerly went over to rack of pamphlets and brochures about the city for tourists. I didn't feel necessarily excited to find a way. Right now I was a little preoccupied with the dream I had just had.

"Jane!" I called my best friend over.

"Yeah?"

"I-"

"Don't you dare." a woman's voice said in my mind. Everyone in the library was frozen.

"Mom?"

"Don't tell a soul!"

"What is it Sarah?" Jane asked.

"I... um... Just wanted to say er... I wonder if we'll see Zachary Levi here. He lives in LA so it's highly possible."

"You and your obsession with Chuck," she sighed.

"You and your obsession with Justin Bieber," I countered.

"Touché." she smiled and went back to scanning the brochures.

Looking around I found a hard backed wood chair. I ploped down on the uncomfortable seat and took a look at Ocean.

No wonder she was only a year old and she looked 4. And she talked like a much older individual also. She was a goddess! What kind of goddess was she? Something intelligent and has to do with H20. Hmm... Ah ha! Smartwater! Ha ha. Hmm... I'd really have to think hard on that one...

"Here!"

"What?" Everyone asked.

"Amtrak! A train to Anaheim to New York City on April 24, 2011. (We should stay at a hotel for the night). I thought that we probably wouldn't want to sit in the unreserved coach seats for three days so I decided to get us rooms. We stop in three places on the way to make a connection. Los Angeles, Chicago, and Washington, DC. I got two bedrooms for the 43 hour connection and just one for the 17 and a half one. The grand total after adding business seats for the last connection should come to, $1834.50."

"You got all this information right now?" Percy asked, awed. "On the library computer?"

"I know I know. I am looking up hotel rates right now. Hmm... How about the Sheraton Cerritos? One room, two beds, looks good. Let's see the total is $94.42."

We were shocked.

Jane was the first to snap out of her daze. "Wow. Um. Sounds like a plan. Percy could you get out the credit card?"

He complied while the rest of us snapped back to reality.

Okay so wait! Didn't there need to be adults to check in?

"We need to make you two look older." I said aloud, pointing at Percy and Annabeth.

"Time to meet high heels and a mustache!"

We walked out of the library into the street hoping to find a thrift store on the way...
