We are humans but monsters in nature.
Why is violence suddenly becomes common to people?
They don't care when someone get hurt with their actions and words.
They do what they want and say what they want.
Like no one can actually die because of them.
We are having our P.E. class at the moment. We are all in the field. This is my very last subject for the day. Finally, I can take a break from my battles for today.
But I can't seem to rest. The site of these jerks is making me mad. They are bullying a male student from the yellow class right in front of me.
Akala ko ba hindi namin sila nakakasalamuha maliban kung Sports Fest? Anong ginagawa niya dito? Binubully tuloy siya ng mga duwag.
"Hey freak! Why so slow? Faster!"
"Tsss... why so slow like a turtle huh?!"
"Useless piece of sh*t!!!"
Nakita ko kung paano ito natumba dahil sa lakas ng pagkakasipa nila dito. Hindi ako nakapagtimpi. Hindi ko kayang manood lang. I was once treated like this.
I clenched my fist tightly. My jaw tighten.
"Hey! Zeno saan ka pupunta?" Tawag niya sakin ngunit hindi ko siya pinakinggan.
Lumapit ako dun sa lalaki at tinulungan ko siyang tumayo.
These monsters!!!
"Are you okay?" Tanong ko sa kanya.
He look at me like he has no hope at all. Like he's been enduring this kind of treatment for a very long time now. Like he wanted to escape but he has no choice. There's an entrance but there's no way out.
I saw how he clench his fist. He's jaw tightened too. He's fuming mad deep within but he need to stop himself. One wrong move for him, all of his dreams will vanished. All of it will turn into ashes and will just fade away. His sacrifices will turn into waste.
"I'm fine." Mahina niyang sagot.
"Hey newbie! You can replace him if you want. But if you don't then back off. Let him do his job!" Sita ng isang halimaw sa harap namin.
Sa asal niya ngayon hindi ko siya ituturing na tao.
Haharapin ko na sana siya ngunit pinigil niya ako. Napatitig ako sa mga mata niyang puno ng pagsusumamo.
Ganito din ba ako dati? Ganito ba ako nagmakaawa para sa kalayaan ko?
"Don't!" Pigil niya sakin habang naka hawak ng mahigpit sa kamay ko. "I'm fine. Please don't..." He pleaded.
