I stare at all my students, soon to be soldiers.
I take a deep breath.

" I called all of you here today because I have news"
Some nodded and some just stared as i continued
" I'm not going to be your..captin anymore"
As I looked at their faces they we're shocked, disappointed And confused
I never thought my students actually cared about me being their captin
"But captin, where will you be?"
Says one of my students
" I'll be the new guard for prince technoblade, but I will be captin again soon. It's only temporary so please don't worry"
They stayed quite. They were even more shocked that I said the prince's name.
As I saw a figure slowly walk towards me I knew who it was.
" this will be your new captain, when I return from my new job I will be captain again"
They nodded
" this is niki, you will call her captin niki, understand?"
"Yes ma'am"
" good"

I turn to face my old friend niki, I pull her into a hug
" please take care of them for me"
" of course y/n"
She pulls away from the hug.
We both nodded, and she slowly started to walk towards my- I mean her students.
I walk away from the scene to go to the kings office.

(Time skip!)
"Please enter"
I opened the door to see king philza talking with the prince.
Technoblade had this long pink hair that was braided, he had a crown on top of his head.
I always wanted to know more of the prince sense we never really talk.
"Aa y/n! We were just talking about you!"
I slowly walk towards them.
" y/n this is technoblade, technoblade this is y/n your new guard"
I noticed that prince technoblade wasn't to happy that I was his guard, but I understand why.
" your majesty it's an honor to meet you"
I said to him while I kneel down infornt of him.
" I don't need a guard, and especially not a girl to protect me"
Techno says.
I look at his red eyes
" maybe I'll save you one day"
I said with a smirk.
" I doubt that.."
He looked at me with a grin.
" dad, I still don't understand why I NEED a guard"
He said as he looked at his father.
" you have one because I said so. I'll be super busy for the next couple months. That's why"
Phil explained
Techno nodded and faced me again
"well since your now MY guard..your first orders are... to let me be alone for an hour or so I'm not I'm the mood rn.."
Technoblade says to me As I slowly stood up and looked at him then at Phil.
I was about to say something to technoblade but he left.
"Sorry y/n I'll talk to him"
" mm"
I nodded.
Soon though I left to go to the big field.

I pull over to the next page of my book.
And start reading.

It's so calming.
But yet it scares me.
Maybe if I d-
My thoughts were cut off by the sound of ruffling.

I looked around and sat my book down and stood up grabbing my sword.

I close my eyes.

And listened.
To everything.
But out of nowhere-

"Woah- easy it's just me"
I open my eyes to see techno with his hands up as if he was getting arrested.
" you scared me-"
He chuckled
"Yea yea whatever"
He said.
We both sit down next to a tree.
I place my sword down and took my book again in my lap.

" heh I didn't know a tough warrior can be such a nerd."
We both laugh.

" hey y/n l'm sorry for the way I acted earlier"
I looked at him.
" It's okay, your majesty"
" please just call me techno"
I nodded in response
" the king wants you to join us for dinner"
He said.
I look up at the night sky.
"i can't, I'm busy"
I said
"Busy with what? Reading?"
"Mhm"
I replied
" you know I haven't seen you out of your uniform."
" I know"
" come on y/n a little fun won't hurt"
I thought about it.
" Fine, I'll go"
Techno nodded and got up.
" I guess I'll see you in an hour. "
He said as he left.
" well I guess this is my new life.."
