World 1: Chapter 1

Chapter 1: This dog is Mine

Inside the first mission world, the Canine System was still briefing the human soul while they were inside a box being shipped somewhere. 

Thomas is a baby husky around 3 months old and is purchased by one of heaven's pairs. His insight is a bit limited for this first mission world but the overview of this particular world was available for him. 

This world is central to the Business Romance where the story will focus on the commerce and some nonsensical obstacles between heaven's pairs before they reach their happy ending. The Male lead is one of the most successful business tycoons that was slowly expanding overseas with his business. Like a typical douche bag, he is a jerk, cold-hearted, and single-minded about the things he wants. He will do everything to get what he wants and if there's someone blocking his path he will use any means to teach that person a lesson, no matter if it was a minor or an elder. 

On the other side, the female lead is a young adult that just reached her 18th birthday and she's a spoiled princess of their family. With an adopted big sister to be her playmate and a guardian whenever her parents are out overseas, she lived her eighteen years of life in a good environment and happiness. However, she went down the rabbit hole and almost died when her parents became subjected to pressure that came from the Male lead and made them bankrupt, Her parents fell ill and died, and her older sister dumped her somewhere to die alone. Just before she dies, a miracle happened and she went back to the year that she was ten years old. 

To change the dreadful future ahead, she needs to do everything in her power to change her fate and her family's fate against the Male lead. This is where Thomas will enter the scene and keep the female lead safe every time she goes out and crosses paths with the Male lead. 

After listening, Thomas was quiet and he thought for a while before asking the Canine System.

"The trope is not available for me to know?" He was talking about the other leads that should be included in every mission world, just like the past mission worlds that he went before. 

"You are sharp, you could only unlock the character roles when you have the familiarity with the Female lead at fifteen percent. Other side missions will pop out once you progress steadily with the Female lead and the mission world as well. Good luck," The Canine System said before disappearing in front of Thomas. 

Thomas was silent throughout the trip, he was thinking about the brief summary that was about the future relationship between the Female lead and the other characters. It seems that the main goal is circling around the Female lead, or maybe the Female lead herself, and it pertains to her steady progress towards the fate that she wants to change. 

'Keep the Female lead safe, be her guard dog, and be familiar with her. These will be the things that I need to focus on first.' He thought and stumbled inside the box. It seems that he will be taken inside the house of the Female lead by now. 

He can hear the voices of the servants that were around him, they were talking about the box that he was inside and who was the sender. Just when the box was going to be opened, he heard a female voice that stood up from the rest. 

"Is it the package that I was waiting for? Hurry and give it to me," The servants followed her order and Thomas finally saw the box opened and a teenager's face popped from the top. 

"It's the puppy... hmmm, You, inspect this dog and tell me if it's a girl or a boy, also inspect him carefully! If that's a defect, throw that thing out." The female teenager said with a frown, looking straight into her eyes, he finally get information while he was being inspected.

Information: Adopted to the Jiang Family at the age of five, a distant family of the Jiang's;

Dislikes: Poverty, cheap things, poor students, bugs, sour and bitter things, 

Familiarity rate: 0.1%

Thomas stared at the information in front of him and it was just after he was inspected that he refocus on the disgruntled face of Chloe Jiang. It seems that she was expecting a girl, but got a male puppy instead and was feeling angry. 

"Are they blind?! I ordered a female husky! A female! That's a male husky! Call them up! Hurry!" Chloe blew up and was shouting at the servants who were close to her. She was huffing and her face filled with anger and feeling wronged. Just when he was about to be put back inside the box, a young child that is ten years old or so showed up at the top of the stairs and told everyone to stop moving. 

Thomas struggled inside the hands of the servant and stretched his head up in the direction of the top of the stairs, staring at the deep ocean blue eyes as the information suddenly popped in front of him. 

Name: Luis Jiang

Character role: Female lead

Information: Daughter of Jiang Family at the age of five, a distant family of the Jiang's;

Current Education: Middle school student

Age: 10 years old

Likes: Money, literature, 

Dislikes: Fake people, Pain, suspicious and untrustworthy people, 

Familiarity rate: 0 %

"Y-Younger sister, you are here! I just checked this parcel and found that they messed up the gender of the dog that you want. Let the servants return it, okay?" Chloe asked as she went up the stairs and went to the side of her younger sister, coaxing her like a little girl who cannot have her candy before dinner. 

Just before Thomas could look more at the two sisters, the servants quick put him back inside the box and closed the lid, however, he can still hear what they were talking about. 

"Older sister, that thing is for me. Mine. My own. Why do you always meddle with my stuff? Didn't mom and dad already gave you what you want last week?" Luis asked sounding pissed, 

"W-What?! younger sister, I know it is for you, but I just want to check it out in case it will be something that will upset you or bother you. I didn't mean to meddle with your stuff, I just want to keep you safe!" Chloe shouted feeling wronged.

"There's a difference between worry and envy, one is for goodness, other is for evil. You there, bring that box to my room, now." Luis said and the servant who was holding the box hesitantly moved forward, as if he doesn't want to obey the legitimate daughter. 

Luis seemed to noticed that and turn around to look down on the servant.

"Do you dare to disobey me, or do you want to be fired?" Luis said in a low tone and the servant hurriedly went up the stairs after her small body, almost tripping on the steps and killing the pup inside. Behind them, the Head maid and the Head butler were following them to receive the orders of the young miss. 

On the other hand, Chloe was left alone on top of the stairs and she was feeling indignant and embarrassed. She's the older one between them, the servants should follow her and not that kid! Besides, their mom and dad never reprimanded her when she explains what she was doing or what she had done on Luis' stuff or actions! How dare that brat suddenly talked back to her and even buy her own pet without her permission?! The nerve! Her sharp eyes went down the stairs and that there were some servants still loitering below the stairs looking at her. 

"What! Scarm and do your duties before I fire all of you!" She shouted and everyone quickly run away. 

Inside the large pink bedroom adorned with fancy and medieval theme, Only one little girl and one little puppy were staring at each other.
