Side Story - Catderella

Once upon a time, in a faraway land, there was a house near the woods, where one big house stand. In the house, there lived, one mother and her 3 sons. 

The eldest son was, Jermaine, the second son was, Kenichi and finally the last and the youngest was Catderella, but they say his name was too hard to speak of so he is called Min. 

And the mother was called Kenji, he was a very cruel mother. He remarried into Min's house but not long after Min's father died. Leaving him Min with his stepmother and stepbrothers. But Min was not treated well by his stepmother. 

Everyday, his stepmother would ask him to clean and cook for them, treating him like a maid.

His stepbrothers was worse, whenever they dont feel happy, they would throw stuff at Min or bully him whenever they can.

But Min was a very kind child, he would did everything as his stepmother say, hoping his stepmother would at least let him stay in his father's house. 

One day, as usual, Min is cleaning the house. Dusting, sweeping and cleaning the windows. When he was cleaning the basement, he heard scratching sounds. He looked around and saw near the heater, there was something scratching around in the dark soot. 

He goes closer and notices a pair of eyes looking at him. He reaches over and grabs the dark thing and dust away the soot. And he was stunned to see it was a lil white kitten. It sneezes when Min dusts over his nose.

"Oh my, I'm sorry lil one." Min puts down the lil white kitten. The lil white kitten purrs and nuzzles his head against Min's hand.

"Such a lil cutie. I'm Min. And why are you here lil one?" The lil white kitten meow. Min sighs. "Sorry lil one, I dont understand what are you saying. Maybe I will take you outside later to search for you family. For now I need to clean up here first alright?" Min pokes the lil white kitten's nose and the kitten seems to understand what Min says. It quietly sits at the side and waits for Min.

Min quickly resumes his cleaning and suddenly he heard horse's galloping near his house. 

He was curious, so he looked outside through the small window of the basement. He saw a man was wearing very well tailored outfit, it seemed to be the palace guard. And in front of the door was his stepmother and his stepbrothers.

"Madam, here is the invitation to the grand ball this Friday night. The prince is planning to search for his one true love and get married, please bring your sons to join the party and make sure to dress well. The prince loves people who dresses up." The guard says. 

"Oh my, thank you Sir. We will attend the ball. Thank you for your invitation." Kenji  replies smiling. But inside he was already scheming, if either one of his son is able to hook up with the prince, they wont have to live in this small house anymore!

After that, the man hops on his horse and off to other houses to deliver the invitations. 

Min was excited. He always dreamt of going to the castle. When he was small, his father would always tell him how fancy the castle was and how beautiful the people in there.

He quickly ran upstairs and wanted to ask his mother if he could join.

He saw that his stepbrothers and stepmother was discussing what are they going to wear to go to the ball.

"Stepmother, may I go as well?" Min asks. 

Three of them notices Min walks in their conversation.

Kenji, the stepmother steps out and stops Min from coming closer to his stepsons.

"My dear Min. Look at you. You dont even own any nice and beautiful clothes, how are you going to join the grand ball?" Kenji for sure is trying to humiliate Min in front of his sons.
