Chapter 16 - The Boy Named Kurokage

Once everything was settled, Tai Long had prepared a ceremony for Zi An. A ceremony to celebrate that he finally became the adopted son of Tai Long and also to tell the whole Black Dragon group, that no one can touch this boy.

Ling, Zi An's mother didnt agree to this, but once Zi An explained why he did this, she was sad but at the same time proud of his boy. She knew he wasnt meant to keep hiding in dark like her. She knew that one day Zi An would be something great.

But she never expected him to be a Mafia's boy.

"Sighs.." Ling sighs again.

"Mom, dont keep sighing." Zi An holds his mother's hand and gently massages her cold hands.

"How can I not sigh? I'm scared Zi An.. The mafia are not normal people like us.. Are you sure you want to be his adopted son? There might be no return for you..." Ling says with her worried face.

"Mom. I know what I'm doing. I was thinking once I got used to everything, I will ask Tai Long to send you away. Then you'll be safer far away from here." Zi An says.

"N-No! I dont want to leave you behind." Ling quickly grabs onto Zi An's shoulder.

"Mom, I'll be fine. Somemore I want you to live a normal life. I dont plan to let Tai Long have you." Zi An says.

"But Zi An my son.. how are you gonna do that?" 

"No worries mom. Once I have everything I will get rid of the ones I dont need." Ling looks at her son, she can felt that he is scary. All her life, this is what she wanted to avoid, but who'd knew her own son who find ways into it?

She can only sigh in silence. It must be destined to be so.

"Alright Zi An.. But promise me ok? Be careful always. I still want to see my son grow up well and get married ok?" Ling says hugging Zi An.

"Of course mom! I still wish to be with you for a long long looongg time." Zi An pats his mother's back to make her feel better. He understood her worries, but he needs to step up if he wanted to change their lives.

-Back at the Greco Villa-

"Curses!" Ermanno Greco slams his hand on his table.

"Big Boss, please calm yourself." One of the man in black suit says to Ermanno.

"How can I calm myself? Tai Long suddenly took in a son. It means he doesnt want to work with us! I thought Enzo had went over to talk to him? Where is him now!" This was Ermanno Greco. The most influential Mafia head around Italy. But being the most influential, he is also very power greed.

Ermanno Greco, in his mid forties, even though he is in his forties but he still looked very slick looking. 

"I'm here." Suddenly Enzo steps into the room.

"What do you have to say?" Ermanno tooks out a cigar and smokes on it to calm himself. He looks at Enzo unsatisfied with his doing.

"I have nothing to say." Enzo says. He stares at Ermanno coldly.

"Enzo, even if I have a lot of power within my grasp, but it will never be enough. And I just asked you to "negotiate" with the Chinese, you should know better, with them joining us, the Greco family would be stronger than ever." Ermanno says.

He knows one day Enzo will take over his place, but he needs to have him listen to him. But this boy always does what he wants.

"I've already negotiated as you asked me to. The Black Dragons wont work with you. That's not my problem." Enzo says coldly.

"That isnt enough!! We need to get them to work with us. Not to have the go against us!" Ermanno angrily slams on the table.

Enzo enjoys watching Ermanno his step dad angry. He knows he just wants to control him to do his own bidding. Son? No. He's just his puppet so he can protect his own son.
