They walked for a while longer, traveling unknowingly in this direction until they both saw something in the distance, Rainbow Steve the first to spot it. A few people were in front of an oddly shaped building, but they were hard to make out. "A dirt cottage?" Rainbow Steve questioned, shielding his hands in front of his eyes from the sun to get a better view. "I think I see people in front of it, too," Sabre said, squinting from behind his blindfold. They walked a little closer, and immediately Rainbow Steve recognized Galaxy Steve in the group, as well as another; an Alex appeared out of the house, closing a wooden door that led inside. She was orange-haired with soft green eyes. This Alex wore a light green T-shirt, a black belt tied around her waist. Her pants were brown, and she had dark grey boots. One hand was on her hip. The Alex looked disappointed, but that expression turned blank rather quickly, as though hiding her feelings. She was talking with two others, one being the Guardian. The Guardian of the Spirit World was a hooded figure. But under his mysterious white marked black hood, he was elder with white hair, with snow-white wings that didn't connect with his body. The Guardian frowned, upset for some reason that Rainbow Steve didn't know. His hair also shielded his eyes from view. And occupied with them was the actual Galaxy Steve, with a tired look on his face.
Alex turned her head toward Sabre, and her blank expression lit up with excitement, and she ran over and flung her arms around Sabre and grabbed him into a hug, "You're alive, Sabre! Thank goodness." Alex said, pulling herself out of Sabre's hug and gripping his hands together, squeezing them. "You're alive! And that's all that matters," Sabre said. Rainbow Steve edged away, feeling weird around her, suddenly having an urge to leave them all behind and run into the direction his gut was telling him to follow. Alex removed her hands from Sabre's and gave him a warm smile, closing her eyes happily. "We didn't think you'd make it. We believed you were dead," explained the Guardian. Galaxy Steve and Alex finally noticed Rainbow Steve, as if they didn't know he existed until now. For some unknown reason, they staggered back in fear-Galaxy Steve crumpling a bit, as if pained, holding his hands to his eyes. "W-w..what was that-?" Alex stuttered, shivering, closing her eyelids for a brief moment, then slowly opening them, glancing down. "What was what?" Sabre asked, looking around-then raising a brow suspiciously.
"I-I think it's his eyes..?" Galaxy Steve tried, hugging himself, keeping his hands over his face as if he wanted to block Rainbow Steve out from his view completely, "Well, sure, it changed color, but it's not that creepy," Sabre explained deliberately, "You think I'm creepy?" Rainbow Steve asked in a bit of a proud tone, a little shocked that Galaxy Steve admitted such a thing. "No! I mean-no-It's not that, that's ridiculous-Rainbow Steve can't be creepy. Er, no offense," Sabre butted in, then looked to Rainbow Steve with a reassuring look, which didn't seem to help. Galaxy Steve and Alex both looked away so that Rainbow Steve was out of both of their sight, as though ignoring Rainbow Steve's presence-it almost made him feel alone. But he didn't care. He only needed the one person who wasn't here right now... "I...I think it's because he isn't a Steve. Sabre isn't a Steve." explained Alex, still looking away from Rainbow Steve. "Well, yes, I died. To answer your question, Guardian, I was." Sabre said.
Alex looked up at Sabre and exchanged glances with the Guardian as though Sabre were crazy-in this case-he seemed like he was. Galaxy Steve looked confused as well. "But, then...how are you here?" she asked, staring at Sabre. Rainbow Steve looked at Sabre out of the corner of his eye, he couldn't tell because of Sabre's blindfold, but a feeling told Rainbow Steve that Sabre was looking at him back. Rainbow Steve explained how all the Steve's in the Spirit World had returned and how he and Sabre were reunited. Alex was horrified, and so was the Guardian, but Galaxy Steve had a mixed expression that was hard to read. "That means...Origin Steve.." Alex said, cupping her hands together and putting them over her mouth. "As well as Illusion Steve..." the Guardian mumbled, looking away.
