Part 3: I'm glad I got to see you again

Aizawa's POV

I'm too tired today.. The date with Y/N was kind of fun. I'd do it again. All day at class, all I could think of is the cute smile they had petting that black cat. Or they way Y/N ate that cookie and got crumbs all over their face. I'd never admit it outloud, but I can't wait until Y/N calls.

"Mr. Aizawa!!"

Oh, right, I'm still a teacher..

After school, Aizawa's POV still

I expected them to be busy with hero work, but I hoped for a call today. Hmm. I hope they are okay.. Tch- It Sucks missing someone.. I got some coffee and started grading papers.

"D...A...F...F...B....A... Of course, Momo and Todoroki got A.... B... I should get on to Denki for these grades... C... C... B.... F-" I said out loud, grading the papers before I was interrupted by a ringing of my phone. "Unknown Number." I picked it up, having a feeling I knew who it was.

???: Hey Hey Hey!!
KittyTamer: Oh, Hey Y/N
My Mermaid: Ugh, I had a mission to do at 5 am in the morning. It took all freaking day, and Kil looked at me so sad when I came home. But anyways, how are you?
KittyTamer: I'm alright. Just grading papers.
My Mermaid: How much more do you have?
KittyTamer: About 4... 3 now.
My Mermaid: Do you have time to go to a movie with me?
KittyTamer: Depends on the time. And aren't you exhausted from your mission?
My Mermaid: It's at 6:45 and goes on until like 8:15
Hmm.. It's 5:30..
KittyTamer: Then that goes back to my 2nd question. Shouldn't you rest from an exhausting mission?
My Mermaid: It was tiring, but it didn't drain me real bad. Plus, I want to see you again.
KittyTamer: If you fall asleep, I'll leave you in that theater.
My Mermaid: Okay, deal. And I'm not gonna fall asleep.
KittyTamer: If you say so. I'll pick you up at 6 so we can see the previews.
My Mermaid: Okay, I'll see you!!

I hung up and stretched. Another date with my Y/N. I dressed up in a normal long sleeve black shirt and gray jeans. I put on my shoes and walked out to my car. I drove to outside her complex. After a few minutes of waiting, I saw them walk out the doors. They looked around for a few seconds and saw my car. They waved, and I unlocked the doors so they could come in.

"Hiya, Aizawa!" Y/N said, stepping inside my car with a smile. "You know you can call me Shota. You don't hear me calling you L/N." I told them. "Hehe, okay, Shota," Y/N said a bit shyly. I smiled and started driving. We were driving for about 5 minutes when I heard a yawn coming from Y/N's direction. "Tch- What did I tell you?" I said in a disappointed tone. "Aww, come on!~ It was one yawn. Gimme a break, " they said, putting their hands on their knees. I shook my head. Y/N.. It's always so stubborn

When they arrived at the movies
Aizawa's POV

We walked inside the theater. Y/N paid for our tickets and got us 2 drinks and a popcorn to share. They were about to get two, but..

~Flashback~

"65 DOLLARS FOR POPCORN??? YOU MUST BE OUT OF YOUR LOW PAY CHECK,SINGLE ASS, CRUSTY RECEDING HAIR LINED HEAD!! WHO PAYS THAT MUCH FOR FOOD YOU ARE GONNA DEVOUR BEFORE THE MOVIE HAS EVEN HIT THE CLIMAX??? I SHOULD USE MY QUIRK AGAINST YOU~ MAYBE THEN YOU WOULDN'T OVERCHARGE ME"

~Flashback over~

In the end, I had to use my quirk against Y/N so we wouldn't get kicked out. I looked at them. "Oh, don't even look at me like that. I wasn't gonna let them practically scam us over popcorn, " they said proudly, walking to the movie showing. "Still, you were a bit out of control. I had to use my quirk on you." I told her with a slightly mad expression. Y/N huffed and pouted. I sighed and ruffled their hair. "You must be out of your low pay check.. What was it again?~" I said, teasing her. "Oh my gosh," she mumbled, covering her face, which was clearly red. I laughed, and we finally walked inside the viewing room.

We sat down at our seats, which were directly in the middle of the room. I placed the popcorn and drinks down and sat on the left of Y/N. They played about 2 previews before the actual movie started. It was some thriller called "Everything is Fine." It was based on a web comic.

One scene scared Y/N really bad, and they started shaking. I put my hand on top of theirs, and they looked at me and smiled. Every time there was a jump scare, I'd squeeze their hand so they knew everything would be fine.

Soon, the movie was over, and just about everyone in the room were screaming because they left it on a cliffhanger. I was about to stand, but Y/N grabbed my hand. I looked around and saw many people leaving. "Why are we still here? The movie is over." I asked them with a questioning look. "I was tipped that we were supposed to stay because there is this extra part at the end." Y/N said with a proud look. I looked back at the screen, and as she said, there was an extra scene at the end. We stayed there for the extra scene, which was about 15 minutes, but it was worth it.

Back inside Aizawa's car

We started talking about the movie with each other as I drove Y/N back to their house. They were silent for a while, so I glanced for a second and realized that they fell asleep. I shook my head and smiled. I drove to their apartment. I looked back at them again and decided I wasn't going to interrupt Y/N's sleep.

I took them out of the car and carried them on my back. I walked to their apartment and used the key Y/N had in their pocket. I walked inside and laid Y/N on their couch. I laid a blanket over them. Soon, a white cat came up to me and meowed. "Don't worry, I'm just dropping Y/N off. You must be Kil." I leaned down and petted the cat's head. He purred, and it made me smile.

I rose up and looked at Y/N sleeping so peacefully. I leaned down beside them and whispered, "I'm glad I got to see you again, my Y/N." I kissed their cheek and left, making sure to lock the door on my way out
