I woke up with a sharp pain in my back. Whenever I moved, the pain would only worsen.

Well, maybe I shouldn't of offered to carry Kakashi.. He's a lot heavier than he seems.

I couldn't help but laugh at my own thoughts. I then looked around to see if anyone else was awake yet, but apparently I was the only one who hasn't woken up.

"Why is it always me?" I muttered.

I stood up from my sleeping bag and walked outside of the room- only to see everyone gathered around Kakashi.

"Kakashi! You're finally awake!" I gasped, giving him a big hug.

"Kazumi, as much as I appreciate this hug, I don't. You're squishing me." He said causally.

I rolled my eyes.

"-You know, I was the one who carried you here. So I don't believe you have room to talk."

He sighed at my sassiness.

"Anyways, like I was telling everyone else here, we believe Zabuza is still alive." Kakashi informed me.

I choked on air. "Wait, what?"

"But we saw his body! Believe it!" Naruto blurted.

"Kakashi Sensei, even you and Kazumi checked him, you said his heart stopped." Sakura also blurted.

I then started to put two and two together.

"Huh. I see what's going on here. The needles that were used for Zabuza's body only causes a temporary death. That ninja wasn't aiming to kill." I observed.

"Correct. Those needles are called senbon. They can pierce deeply but rarely kill unless they hit a vital organ, not in the neck. They're modified from needles used for medical treatments, like acupuncture." Kakashi remarked. "Trackers are trained to know every detail of the human body. Causing the heart to stop temporarily while keeping the body alive is an easy matter for them."

"First, he carried Zabuza's body away, even though it's much heavier than he is. Second, he used senbon, which have a precise effect but are rarely fatal. From these two factors, we can conclude that the tracker wasn't trying to destroy Zabuza." He continued.

"He was trying to save him." I grunted.

"Come on, you're overthinking this, aren't you?" Tazuna questioned.

"Overthinking is not possible in the Shinobi life. One must observe every detail they can, doing so can have great benefits." I answered.

"Encountering suspicion, the ninja prepares quickly. Hesitation leads to disaster. Every Shinobi knows this saying." Kakashi added.

I looked over at Naruto, who was shaking in excitement. I'm assuming he's glad to hear that Zabuza is still alive.

"Sensei, you said prepare quickly, but how can we do that when you can barely move?" Sakura asked.

"I can still train you." Kakashi laughed.

"Hold on! A little last minute training won't make us strong enough to fight Zabuza. You could barely defeat him even with your Sharingan. We have to be reasonable about this." Sakura insisted.

"Sakura, why was I able to stop Zabuza? Because you all helped me. You've grown." Kakashi stated. "Naruto, you've grown the most."

"So you've noticed, Kakashi Sensei! Now things are going to get better. Believe it!" He exclaimed.
