Haku's Secret Jutsu: Crystal Ice Mirrors

"Well, well. So I had it right. It was all an act. With a cute little mask." Kakashi hummed.

"Big phony, ha." Sasuke commented.

"So I guess all that about being a tracker ninja protecting his village was just a bunch of bull." Tazuna also commented.

"They look pretty chummy to me." Kakashi added. "I'd say they've been pulling scams like that for a long time."

"Ah, Kakashi. Always calling out other's business." I chuckled.

"He's got some nerve, facing us again after pulling that trick!" Sakura yelled.

"And hiding behind a mask. Who does he think he's fooling?" Kakashi continued.

"Uh, Sensei. You do the same." I whispered in his ear.

"That's it. I'm taking him out." Sasuke said impatiently. "Who does he think he's fooling, hiding behind that mask like some sort of clown?"

"Sasuke! You're so cool!" Sakura blurted, being a fangirl.

"Sakura, Kakashi just said that." I sighed.

"Kazumi, Sakura, cover Tazuna and stay close to me. Let Sasuke handle this." Kakashi demanded.

Sasuke and Haku began to fight with kunai's back to back. Each time they both dodged the other's attack. If they keep on like this, they won't get anywhere.

"We want the bridge builder, not you." Haku spoke. "If you back down, I won't have to kill you."

"Save it." Sasuke remarked.

"You're making a mistake. You won't be able to keep up with my speed. I've gained two key advantages." Haku informed him.

"-Yeah? What are they?"

"First, we're surrounded by water. Second, I've blocked one of your hands, therefore you only have one free hand to defend yourself." He explained.

Haku put his hand up to make a sign. How.. How can he do that? With just one hand?

"Secret Jutsu, One Thousand Needles of Death."

"Sasuke!" Sakura yelled.

Sasuke leaped into the air, dodging the attack. He then threw shuriken in Haku's direction, but he also dodged this.

"You're not as fast as you think." Sasuke said, now being behind Haku. "From this point on, you'll be the one defending against my attacks."

They both started to battle again- still dodging each move, until Sasuke finally placed a kick on Haku.

"Thought you were quicker, huh? Now what else are you wrong about?" Sasuke smirked.

"You made a big mistake insulting these ninja and calling them brats. That's just guaranteed to bring out Sasuke's attitude." Kakashi informed him.

"You're absolutely correct on that one." I grinned. "You also made a big mistake riling him up- considering the fact that Sasuke is the best young fighter of the Hidden Leaf Village."

"Sakura here is our sharpest mind." Kakashi stated. "Kazumi can easily create a strategy, one that never fails. She's extremely advanced with close range fighting and her reflexes are off the chart. And last but not least, our number one hyperactive knucklehead ninja is Naruto Uzumaki."

"Haku, if we keep going like this, we'll be the victim instead of them. Get on with it." Zabuza ordered.

"-Right."

"What's that?" Sasuke asked.

"-I'm sorry it's come to this."

"The air, it's so cold.." Sasuke whispered.

Ice began to surround Sasuke, growing taller and taller by the minute.

I can't handle this feeling. Something tells me this won't end well. I've got to go in there with him.

I quickly ran over to Sasuke so I would be trapped with him. Whatever this is, he doesn't need to be alone in it.

"Kazumi!" Sakura shouted.

"Stay back! Protect the bridge builder!" I yelled.

"What were you thinking, Kazumi? You have to go back!" Sasuke argued.

"No. This thing.. He obviously didn't want to use it. It's dangerous, and I won't let a comrade go through with this alone." I remarked.

"She's smart. I respect that from her." Haku said as many other Haku's appeared on the ice.

What is this? I've never seen anything like it!

"Now, we'll begin." He continued. "And I'll show you what speed really means."

Haku started throwing needles towards me and Sasuke. It was insanely hard to dodge them, since they were coming from every direction. Although, I managed to dodge them, well, most of them the best I could, but it involved a lot of focusing.

I looked back at Sasuke, who was hit by the needles. His shirt was ripped on the shoulders, so hopefully they didn't actually cut him, just the cloth itself. He dropped his kunai, causing it to go flying in the air.

"Sasuke!" I yelled.

I jumped on top of him so he wouldn't get hurt any worse than he already has. Although, this caused me to bleed quite badly.

"Kazumi! Don't protect me, protect yourself!" He grunted.

"Shut up, Sasuke." I muttered.

I placed a kunai in both of my hands. I then sat up so I wouldn't be laying on Sasuke anymore, but instead just his hips. This way I'll have a better advantage of dodging the attacks, and as long as they don't come near his face, he'll be fine. I can handle everything else.

"Sasuke, I know this is an awkward position- but I need you to listen to me. Put your hands over your face. I promise you, I will protect you." I assured him.

He decided not to argue and did as I said. Good.

More needles started to fly towards me. I quickly used my kunai's to dodge them, making them backfire. I can't continue doing this though, my luck will run out sometime. Even though I'm fast and my reflexes are great, it's still probably no match for this guy.

I need to think of a plan, and fast.

Out of nowhere, the needles stopped attacking us. I looked up and saw that Sakura tried to throw Sasuke his kunai back to him, but Haku caught it before he could.

Something was then thrown in Haku's direction, causing him to fall out of the mirrors.

"Number one hyperactive knucklehead ninja." Haku muttered.

Smoke filled the air, along with a loud popping sound.

"-Naruto Uzumaki, is here. Yeah! Believe it!"

"Naruto.." I whispered. "I'm glad you've recovered."
