Time Skip

Throughout the week, it was peaceful, Zak and Darryl hadn't seen each other since that night and Darryl was glad about it as he doesn't wanna see, hear nor smell Zak, whilst Zak really missed Darryl's face he was just regretting everything he had done, he just wants to change and be forgiven but he knows, that's impossible he had been mostly lost in thoughts throughout the week, he just thought about one thing and one thing only, the popular seven words saying
"IF YOU LOVE SOMEONE SET THEM FREE"

The days of the week was practically just Darryl waking up going to the bakery, then baking bread pastries then selling it, then Clay's gonna pick up George for their date, and Clay offers Darryl to come but Darryl always turns it down saying, "It's ok I don't wanna ruin the moment" that's pretty much what Darryl always say

And it was now the end of the week and Zak and Clay are now returning to their kingdom, George was crying whilst Darryl felt something he couldn't understand then thought" what why do I feel like this right now?"

Darryl then turned to his right and saw George crying they were both at the bakery, Darryl then sighed as he tried to convince himself," ohh yeah I'm just sad caz George's crying, right?"

Darryl sighed as he made his way to George and comforted him, "come on George it's ok Clay's gonna visit you that's for sure"

George just looked at Darryl sniffling then said, "ye..yeah ba...but what if he finds sa.. someone better"

Darryl chuckled then wiped George's tears with his thumb, "awe Georgie doesn't worry about that, ok? his not gonna replace you he loves you, if he wanted to replace you then why did he keep on finding you when we escaped?"

George thought about and nodded then a bright smile crept on George's face, "thank you Darryl your the best" George said as he hugged Darryl tightly

Darryl just ruffled George's hair and sighed out of content but he still has that lingering feeling of sadness and despair, Darryl then looked up as he heard muffled cries and sniffles

Then the door opened and he saw a crying dirty blond, Darryl giggled and let go of George then whispered to George, "look it's Clay"

George then looked up and ran to Clay hugging him deeply, Darryl just smiled and then went back to clean

Clay said, "I'll miss you so so much Georgie, I'll visit you and Darryl every month MK?"

George then looked up at Clay as he was previously digging his head on Clay's chest, "really?"George said in a sad but excited tone

Clay just nodded and George hugged Clay tighter, Darryl made sure to not make too much noise as he doesn't wanna disturb the beautiful moment, as he watched while cleaning

George then said in a sad tone "you promise to not replace me?"

"What? Awe Georgie of course, I wouldn't replace you, I love you so so much" Clay responded as he rubbed soothing circles on George's back

Clay then passionately kissed George on the lips, and Darryl smiled but then he soon felt sad" *sighed* I wish I could experience that" Darryl said in his thoughts, yes he and Zak kissed but he didn't like it well at least at that time

, Clay then said, "bye guys see ya when I could, and babye Georgie I'll miss you so so much"

George then replied, "you too miss you have a safe trip", Clay then waved to George and Darryl and Darryl waved back with a force but sweet smile,

Clay then walked out of the bakery and after a few moments later George followed suit, Darryl just watched through the window Clay and George walking hand and hand, he sighed and just kept on cleaning, but stopped as footsteps stopped in front of him,

Darryl knew who it was even if he didn't look, he sighed and said emotionless", what do you want Zak?" Then Darryl looked up with only his eyes looking up as his head was still down

Zak felt his heart shattered into pieces hearing that but then replied, "I'm just here to say a goodbye, and say a proper sorry"

Darryl then stood up straight as he was previously bending his back whilst cleaning, Darryl was livid and was about to start screaming hurt full words but was cut off by Zak,

Zak cut him off by saying"Ok, ok so I know a sorry wouldn't do anything I just felt like saying it, ya know and I know you wouldn't forgive me, and it might hurt a bit but I'll accept it as I went too far *teared up*"
Zak then breathed deeply started to tear up, Darryl just stood there having mixed emotions that he couldn't understand what he was feeling was it pity?, sad?, confused?, happy?, Or guilt? He just couldn't understand it he was just speechless,

Darryl's expression then softens but still looked a bit mad, Zak then looked down as tears started spilling down his face Zak then continued "I have been *sniffles* thinking about it for the past week *sniffles* and I had decided to leave you alone forever"

Zak then looked up at Darryl with teary and red puffy eyes and said," I just thought about that saying *sniffles* that, If you love someone set them free, It breaks my heart seeing you with someone else, but I'll try to be happy even if you're not with me"

Darryl then tensed up he just got lost in his thoughts, "what is this for real? He's leaving me for good?, Then what.. why do I feel so s-" Darryl was cut off his daze as he heard the door slammed shut, then Zak's sobs and cries got quieter and quieter as Zak ran off

Darryl then felt his heartbreak then a tear fell down his face as he finished by mumbling "SAD"
