Darryl was currently humming whilst walking to the bakery at 4 am, Darryl then inhaled and exhaled deeply"I just love the morning breeze" Darryl said, after a few more minutes of walking Darryl was now a few yards away from the bakery, Darryl then squinted his eyes as he saw someone leaning by the door Darryl made a confused look and decided to walk to the person, then Darryl greeted, "Uhm good morning"the person then looked at Darryl and smiled,
"Good morning Darryl", the person said
Darryl then smiled and replied," oh hey Zak what brings you here?"
"Ohh I thought you'd want some help, so I came by" Zak responded
Darryl just nodded and smiled brightly and said, "Ohh thank you then, come on let's get inside it's still a bit chilly, how long have you been waiting?" Darryl questioned whilst unlocking the door, the lock then made a click and Darryl pushed in the door and took out the key on the keyhole,
Zak then replied"ohh not that long"
Darryl just hummed in response then said, "ok now let's go to the kitchen I need to start baking, and ohh can you please put the sack of flour and sugar on the table?" Darryl requested at the end
"Yeah sure" Zak replied
The two then went to the kitchen and Darryl started washing his hands, while Zak lifted the sacks and put them on the table, after that Darryl then started gathering the ingredients
"Ohh Zak, can you please start the oven? the wood is next to it" Darryl asked nicely
"Uh-hmm suuuure" Zak replied whilst scratching the back of his head and eyeing the oven, as it's his first time prepping the oven, Zak then said in his thoughts, "you're just gonna make a fire then put it in some wood easy"
After 20 minutes Zak still hasn't managed to make fire, Zak then began to grumble and curse"this is so hard fuck", Zak mumbled
"Is something wrong Zak?", Darryl asked giggling as he heard Zak's grumbles
"FINALLY!!" Zak announced relief as he finally made a fire, "Nothing" Zak responded as he began to shove wood where the oven's wood area is, he then walked to Darryl who was now kneading dough and was now finished making the cookie dough, banana bread batter and muffin batter
"So what next?" Zak asked as he wiped off his sweat on his forehead with his wrist, Darryl then looked at him and giggled", just wash your hands then put the tray with cookie dough, muffin tin, and loaf pan in the oven when it heats up" Darryl responded
"Ohh ok" Zak responded as he went and washed his hands
Time Skip
It was now 7 in the morning as the sun is now out, and Darryl and Zak had now finished baking and was now sitting facing each other from each side of the table, in the kitchen whilst having breakfast
"Thanks for helping Zak," Darryl said as he took a bite of pancake
"No problem, the pancakes were really good" Zak responded as he finished his pancakes
"Well I must off now see later Darryl bye" Zak added as he stood up
"Ok see ya, Zak," Darryl said
After that Zak then left the bakery and went back to the castle, whilst Darryl started displaying the bread on the glass display that is built in the counter, after that Darryl then started cleaning up he didn't ask Zak to do it as he knew Zak doesn't know how to clean
"Hmmm. I could see his changing I hope he keeps it up, should I forgive him now?, Or wait?" Darryl questioned himself
"I should probably wait" Darryl answered himself as he mopped the floors, the door then opened and the bell rang"morning Darryl",
"Ohh morning George, can you turn the sign to open, I'm pretty much done" Darryl requested
"Yep of course" George responded as he went and turned the closed sign to open and the customers then started coming in for their morning bread
The morning went by a breeze as they took and gave the customers orders, it was a busy morning but it was now noon, and Darryl and George closed the bakery for lunch, George and Darryl are currently in the kitchen eating potato soup as both of them were in the mood for it
"This is just soo good Darryl," George said
Darryl giggled and said, "thank you"
The two then continued eating but then they heard, a knock on the door the two looked at each other confused and George was about to stand up but Darryl stopped him and smiled
"Ohh it's fine George I'll get it just continue eating," Darryl said as he stoop and went outside the kitchen
"Uh ok thanks," George said as he took another spoon of soup
"We're still in lunch bre-, Ohh Zak what brings you here?" Darryl said as he went and unlock the door
Zak then went in with a bright smile and gave Darryl a cloth bag", here I brought lunch for you and George, I also bought you coffee I know you love those"
"Ooo thank you, I was running out of coffee, come let's eat," Darryl said as he signaled Zak to come with
Zak then replied"Ohh I already ate but thanks, I still need to make a letter for my parents caz I'll be staying here for a month"
Darryl then questioned, "why?",
"Ohh you know caz I wanna be with you," Zak said with a smile then waved "babye," Zak said as he went out the door
Darryl just waved stood there slowly waving and a small smile crept on his face whilst his heart fluttered, "what am I feeling?" Darryl questioned himself
"It feels good, right even is this normal?" Darryl thought
Darryl then went back to the kitchen and took out the food from the container and put it on a plate, it was two beef wellingtons
"Who was it Darryl? and Oooo that smells good," George said
Darryl then got two more plates and turned and went to the table and said"Oh it was Zak, hope you still have room for beef wellington this smells really good,"
Darryl then set the plate on the table and George's mouth began to water then replied, "of course I'm always hungry remember"
Darryl just giggled and put one on George's plate, and one for himself Darryl then smiled as he cut through the pastry then the meat inside, Darryl then felt his heart tingle as he remembered Zak, Darryl then ate the beef wellington savoring it
"Darryl," George said eyeing Darryl who was blushing
"Yeah?" Darryl looked up to George
"I know that look, and don't forgive him that easily please" George pleaded as he took another bite
Darryl huffed and looked annoyed, "fine but 1 week tops" Darryl then crossed his arms
George then replied"fine, just make sure that he changed first MK?"
"Ok" Darryl responded
