Imagine #32 Chaeyoung X Yeonjun 🙈

Chaeyoung and Yeonjun have known each other for a couple of years since TXT debuted. Yeonjun has always liked Chaeyoung but she's always felt the opposite way about him. She doesn't like him. Well not in that way. In fact she wouldn't call him a friend. Just an acquaintance or not even that. Sometimes Chaeyoung finds guys a waste of time and  can't be bothered with them. Yeonjun fantasies of he and Chae being together but he knows it's not going to happen. He teased her when he sees her which is not that often now. Who knows maybe in the future? Chaeyoung might change her mind about Yeonjun

Chaeyoung and the girls have just got home for the day from practice. It's been a pretty long day for them working on new things so they are glad to be home now for the evening. The cab pulls up outside their house and they get out. There was a box with some flowers. "Ohhhh someone's got flowers. I wonder who" Sana said picking up the box. "They are for Chaeyoung" Dahyun said. "Who's been sending you flowers, Chae?" Momo said. "I have no idea" Chaeyoung replies. They take the box inside and put it on the kitchen table. Chaeyoung opens it. "Exciting. You got flowers" Nayeon said. She opens the box and the flowers were so nice but she wasn't that impressed. "Flowers are so beautiful. Wish they were for me" Mina said. Chaeyoung picks up the attached note and reads it out loud "To Chaeyoung. From your secret admirer". She was left baffled and confused. She didn't know who her secret admirer could be. "You have a secret admirer, Chae" Jeongyeon said. "Wonder who they are?" Tzuyu said. "Maybe we could trace who it's come from" Jihyo said. "I doubt it. No sender address" Momo said. "We should guess who it might be" Sana said. "Hmmm yeah. One of our staff. Huh no. An idol maybe who likes you. I have heard that Yeonjun from TXT likes you" Dahyun said. "Really?" Chaeyoung replies. "It could be anyone. Don't worry we will try and find out so you know" Nayeon said. Dahyun was right. The flowers were from Yeonjun. Chaeyoung wasn't impressed by the flowers anyway

It's a few days since Chaeyoung received flowers from a mystery someone. She is still curious to find out who they are from. Even though Dahyun was right that they are from Yeonjun. Chaeyoung doesn't like flowers that much and she almost got rid of them. The girls persuaded her not to. They thought she was ungrateful getting rid of such beautiful flowers that somebody ordered her. Chaeyoung doesn't like the idea of someone liking her. Chae is laying on her bed in her room when she hears a knock on the door. The door opens and it's Jihyo. "Guess what, Chae?" she says. "What?" Chaeyoung replies. "I officially found out who sent you the flowers. Dahyun was right. It's Yeonjun. He's your secret admirer" Jihyo squeals. "Oh okay. How did you find out?" she replies. "Hmmmm well I did some investigating and you know asked" Jihyo said. "Jihyo, unnie" Chaeyoung said. Momo walks into the room and says "So did you tell her?". "Yes of course I did but she's not impressed" Jihyo replies. "Chae, sweetie. Why are you so moody lately?" Momo asked. "Period" Chaeyoung said under her breath. "I thought you'd be at least a bit happy knowing that someone likes you and is taking an interest in you" Jihyo said. "Guys are dicks. Can't do with them" Chaeyoung said. "Yeonjun isn't. I think you should give him a chance. He seems to really like you" Momo said. "Yeah you should definitely give him a chance, Chae. Come on. He's a nice guy. We all know him" Jihyo said. "I don't know, guys. I'll have to think about it" Chaeyoung sighs laying back down on her bed. Jihyo and Momo walk out of the room leaving Chaeyoung is peace. They are definitely tight. She should give Yeonjun a chance

Yeonjun has managed to get Chaeyoung's number and has been texting her. She hasn't replied to any of this messages yet and it's been a few days. She tends to ignore numbers that she doesn't know. The girls are sat at the kitchen table eating dinner. Chaeyoung gets up and goes to the bathroom leaving her phone face up on the table with a message popping up from Yeonjun. Nayeon sees her phone and picks it up. "Ohhhh who's this" she said. "It's Yeonjun" Jihyo replies. "She's been ignoring his messages. How rude?" Nayeon said. "Maybe she's been meaning to reply but hasn't got round to it" Tzuyu said. "You know Chae and guys" Jeongyeon laughs. Chaeyoung comes back to the table and looks angry. "What do you think you're doing with my phone?" she yells snatching it from Nayeon. "Sorry I was just curious to know who was texting you" she said. "None of your business. Thank you very much" Chae said. "Chae, you should give Yeonjun a chance. He really likes you. I knew he did" Dahyun said. "Maybe" Chaeyoung said shrugging her shoulders. "Come on, Chae" Mina said. Later on Chaeyoung goes up to her room and looks at the messages on her phone. She kinda feels guilty. Maybe she should reply to Yeonjun's messages. She composes a text to him saying 'Hi, Yeonjun. Sorry didn't reply. I was busy. Hope you're okay'. So it started from there and the two of them started talking and getting to know each other more. Chae apologised for ignoring Yeonjun's texts and being rude to him. He said it was okay and was glad she replied to him

Chaeyoung has decided to give Yeonjun a chance and become friends with him. They started a few months ago and they see each other from time to time. Chae doesn't always like it when Yeonjun flirts with her. That's just Chae but she's glad she's given him a chance for friendship. Chaeyoung and Yeonjun are meeting today after practice for a quick bite to eat. Just a takeout. Nothing special or fancy. Chae is leaving the studio in a few minutes. Yeonjun will be too. "So you're meeting Yeonjun. Right?" Sana asks. "Yes I am. Just for a little while. Not too long" Chaeyoung replies. "See we told you, you should give him a chance and it's working out" Sana said. "Unnie, we are not dating. We are just friends" Chaeyoung said. "Yes I know but I'm just saying" she said. Chae leaves and goes to meet Yeonjun. She is not recognising that she could be having feelings for him and falling for him. Anyway Chaeyoung arrives at the destination to meet Yeonjun. He will be there in a minute himself. He pulls up outside in a cab and gets out. "Hey" he said. "Hi" she smiles. "How's Chae?" Yeonjun said. "Fine. You?" she replies. So they go in and get something to eat. They join the line and decide what they want before finding somewhere to sit. They start talking about the day and general tings and then Yeonjun starts flirting with Chaeyoung and she doesn't really know what to say. She is left speechless. They grab a quick bite to eat and then leave. "Bye. It was good" Yeonjun said. "Yes it was" Chaeyoung replies. "If you need anything don't forget to call me or if you just need to see my face because you're missing me" he said. "Okay I will" Chae laughs. Chaeyoung goes home blushing a bit. It does something to her when he starts flirting with her like that. The girls noticed a change in her later when she got home

A few days later and Yeonjun is going to pay Chaeyoung a visit with some flowers as he wants to say something to her. He is not really nervous to tell her how he feels. She kinda half knows from the way he is around her. Chae never said thank you for those flowers that he sent to her door that time. The girls are home for the evening and Jeongyeon and Jihyo are making dinner. Chaeyoung is in her room listening to music. As the girls were cooking the doorbell goes. Mina was closest to the door so she answers. She opens the door and it's Yeonjun. "Hi, Mina" he said. "Hey, Yeonjun" she replies. "Is Chaeyoung available?" he asks. "I'll go and see" she replies. Mina goes to Chaeyoung's room and knock on her door. "Chaeyoung, there is someone at the door for you" Mina said. "Okay just tell them I'll be down in a minute" she replies. Chaeyoung comes to the door and looks a little surprised to see Yeonjun there. "Hey" he said. "Hey" she said. "So I hope you weren't busy but I've got something to say" he said. "Okay" she replies. "I like you, Chaeyoung. I have always liked you. I never thought I would find myself falling for you" Yeonjun said. "Why? Who did you thought you'd fall for?" she laughs. "Sorry I didn't mean it in that way" I reply. "So you have feelings for me?" Chaeyoung asks. "Basically yes" he replies. Chaeyoung hesitated at first before saying "Yeonjun, maybe I was too blind to see that you liked me at first. I thought you were just being annoying and all guys were jerks. You're actually not like that. You're cool and nice. A little crazy sometimes but then again I can be like that". "So you like me back?" Yeonjun asks. Chaeyoung doesn't answer. She goes silent again. Yeonjun gives her the flowers. She smiles as she looks at them. "Come on. I have never seen you smile like that. You must like me back" he said. "I'm not saying anything. But thank you for the flowers. I didn't even thank you for the ones you sent all that time ago" Chaeyoung said. "So can I at least have a kiss then?" he asks. Chae nodded her head. They stepped closer to each other and put their arms around each other and kissed. "Gosh, you're so short" Yeonjun said as he kissed Chaeyoung. "Shut up. You don't have to remind me of that" she replies. They enjoyed their sweet little kiss outside. Nayeon and Momo saw them kissing through the window so they teased Chaeyoung when she came back in. She said they just kissed and they are nothing more just yet. Maybe Chaeyoung and Yeonjun will be something more soon. She wouldn't rule out having a relationship with him

A/ N: haven't done a Chaeyoung imagine for a while so thought was about time. Sorry if I portrayed her as a bit cold and standoffish. I know she's not like that irl. I thought Yeonjun would be a good idol for her. I can see them together. Next will be a Sana imagine

So my girls just released an amazing album. Scientist is a really good title song. Fits the concept but not my fave. Still an Alcohol Free girl. Standout songs for me atm would be Candy and Moonlight. I absolutely loved Candy first listen on their 6th anniversary event. My kinda song. Glad they have a couple more English songs. And how could I forget The Feels. What a banger?
