3rd POV:

All the Avengers are sat around doing nothing as Bruce listens to opera music. Clint and 12 are still fast asleep on the jet.

"Hey, the lullaby worked better then ever." Nat says as Bruce takes his headphones off.

"Just wasn't expecting a code green." He mumers quietly.

"You hadn't been there, there would have been double the casualties. My best friend would have been a treasured memory."

"You know, sometimes exactly what I want to hear, isn't exactly what I want to hear."

"How long before you trust me?" She ponders.

There's a ghost of a sad but reassuring smile playing at the corners of his lips, "It's not you I don't trust."

Nat sighs but quickly smirks, "Thor report on the Hulk."

"The gates of Hel are filled with the screams of his victims." Thor reports proudly. Banner groans softly so he tries to quickly saves it. "Not the dead of course. No, no, the wounded screams. Mainly whimpering, a great deal of complaining and tales of sprained deltoid and gout." He trails off .

Steve looks up to the roof and then to Thor with a tiny smile on his lips.

"Hey Banner, Dr. Cho is on her way from Seoul. Is it okay if she sets up in your lab?" Tony questions from the pilot seat.

"Uh, yeah, she knows her way around." Bruce spins around to answer him.

"Jarvis take the wheel." The billionaire commands.

"If I had hands then, yes sir." Was the British reply.

"Feels good, yeah?" Tony walks towards the God and super soldier. " I mean, you've been after this thing since SHIELD collapsed. Not that I haven't enjoyed our little raiding parties, but... "

"No but this...this brings it up to a close." Thor admits.

"As soon as we find out what else this has been used for. I don't just mean weapons. Since when has Strucker been capable of human enhancements?" Steve points out.

"Banner and I will give it the once over before it goes back to Asgard. Is that cool with you?" Tony asks. "Just a few days till the farewell party. You're staying right?"

"Yes, yes of course. A victory should be honoured with revels." Thor taps the glass that concealed the glow stick of destiny.

"Yeah, who doesn't love revels? Captain?" Tony leans on the glass container.

"Hopefully this puts an end to the Chitauri and Hydra. So yes, revels."

Clints POV:

The jet touches ground with a rumble, jerking me awake. Bruce quickly wheels the young girl out, into the building where Dr. Cho is waiting.

I stand up and follow them into the big ugly tower as fast as I could to make sure she is safe and comfortable.

The feeling of 2 arms locked around my shoulders stop me from going any further into the operation room. I turn my head slightly to see Nat, who is giving me a soft smile and a pat on the back.

She whispers to me, "Another Barton family member?" It was more of a statement then a question but I shrugged it off and watched the doctors work their magic on the troubled tiny human being.

5 hours pass and they are still trying to stabilise her. Things have gone horribly wrong but not as bad as it could have been. She's sick is all they are telling me.
