With a silent mantra uttered beneath Mizoru's breath, the gate to Magano opened– granting the black-haired girl entrance to the realm of impurities. The rocks beneath her soles crunched as she stepped in, the aura thick with negative energy. The sky was just as red as her eyes, the place looked like hell itself.

Mizoru naturally had a stronger tolerance to the miasma of Magano. For she was born to the Twin Stars; The almighty Miko

She looked around, the area was fortunately devoid of any impurities. Though, Sakura couldn't help but speak up. "Master, where do you plan to go?"

Oh. That just made Mizoru realize the weight of her decision.

Indeed, where will she go?

Seigen just plainly said Magano but didn't specify where, but Mizoru doubts that she'd know even if he told her either way. In the end, she was too confident with her natural-born skills as the prophesied Miko. "Um," She narrowed her gaze, pensive with the question. "There." She pointed at the broken down short building in the distance, which confused Sakura greatly.

"But why–" Mizoru cuts her off.

"Maybe we can look for clues there." She said with no chance for Sakura to reply.

Sakura was of course, loyal to her master and believed in her ability. But in the end, Mizoru was just an inexperienced child with dormant powers. She was born with powers of the divine, but was not actually divine herself.  In the end, Sakura didn't say anything to discourage her– just choosing to stay silent in hopes that Mizoru would realize just how stupid this was.

"See um," Mizoru stood in front of the broken-down building, looking up at it with an unsure expression. "This– building is somewhat stable, maybe they used this before to survive."

Mizoru tried her best to sound like she knew what she was doing, Sakura could tell. But in reality, Mizoru knew nothing. This building not only is broken-down, but it was also extremely unstable. Like it could collapse if anything slightly heavy fell upon it.

Sakura couldn't help but pity her master.

After a few minutes of deep thought, Sakura finally decided. "Master, what about–"

Sakura got cut off by a shrill scream, along with a sudden gust of wind that almost made her fall from Mizoru's shoulder.

It was an impurity! Tall and large in size, fat like a blob, reeking of sin and negativity.

It banged its fist in hopes of crushing Mizoru but thankfully, Mizoru was quick enough to evade that. And came more attacks, multiple sharpened hands that aimed to stab into her body. She evaded it all, not with ease but she did not struggle either.

She was quick on her feet, rolling behind the impurity to catch him off-guard. She raised her fingers beneath her chin, mumbling a mantra taught to her long ago before writing a star in the air. Boom.

The impurity was gone!

Mizoru couldn't help but grin, "Sakura, did you see that? I was very fast,"

"Master indeed was," Sakura agreed.

And just when Mizoru thought she was finished, a swarm of impurities came rushing in!
