Chapter 4

MIZORU breathed in the heavy air of magano while Shinro gagged. Clearly not used with it's negative aura.

"How can you even breathe in here?"
Shinro whined.

"So much for being my protector."
Mizoru mumbled.

Shinro screamed.

"Shinro stop, you're gonna lure the impurities—"

"There's an impurity behind you! "

Mizoru looked back.

"Kill. "Mizoru mumbled.

The impurity dissapeared.

"It was only a class one impurity Shinro. "

"Hurry and make the gate back to the real world. This place is giving me the chills. "Shinro said to her.

"I can't though. "She said.

"What do you mean you can't?! "

"My power is drained. It takes a lot of energy if I use only a spell. And i'm not used to it. "

"Well how are we gonna get out of here?! "Shinro said.

"Don't yell at me. It was your idea. "

"Look! A person! We're saved! "Shinro said and ran to the figure.

"Shinro wait! "She ran after Shinro.

"Shinro—"

She looked at him and he trembled with wide eyes.

"What—"

"W-Why is her face like that? "Shinro whispered to Mizoru.

Mizoru examined the walking figure and widened her eyes as it got closer.

"Shinro run. "

"What—"

"I said run! "

Shinro ran and Mizoru hurried to go to him.

"Help! "Mizoru shouted and Shinro did too.

The female basara laughed.

Maizono cornered Mizoru and Shinro. Tears filled Shinro and Mizoru's eyes whilst Maizono enlargened her form.

"Benio! "A masculine voice shouted.

"Resonance! "

Maizono laughed. The attack having no effect on her.

"Let me show you what real power is."
She smirked and mumbled an enchantment no one could identify.

Mayura and Shimon was there as well.

A dark beam of light came out of Maizono's hand.

"No! "Mizoru ran over to the beam and blocked it.

She was hit by the beam. And died.
Everyone mourned her death.
