What just happened

Penny's POV

Y/N hasn't been home for hours, Leonard isn't worried he went straight to sleep, but I've been up all night.

I don't know where she is, I don't know what she's doing, I don't know when she'll be back. I'm worried.

As I finally start to fall asleep I hear the door click open, "where have you been?" She walks past me and sets her jacket on the kitchen island "out." Is that really all she's gonna say? "Y/N I've been worried about you and all you can say is out" she laughs and turns to face me "don't act like you care you keep going back to your shitty husband"

"Yeah because we're married Y/N we swore til death do us part" she rolls her eyes at me "fuck off with that bullshit you let me finger fuck you in your car, I don't understand you one minute your all over me the next your back into Leonard and acting like you wanna be with him, and then you say you want me back what-" "I'm in love with you." Why the fuck did I just tell her that. "Your what?" "I love you Y/N"

Y/N's POV

she's in love with me. She comes up to me and cups my face "divorce him." She pulls her hands away and steps back "you know I can't-" "no I don't know why you can't either you divorce him or I leave for good" I'm sick of this shit honestly she loves me but won't divorce him "fine. But just give me a few days"

-days later-

It's been a couple days and nothing has happened no talk of divorce no distancing herself nothing, I mean they're currently having sex in the other room the moans still as pornographic as ever, I can never watch a show in peace in this house can I.

After a couple minutes the moans only get louder mainly from Leonard until Penny moans "Y/N" and everything goes quiet. I think I better start running

Both of them run/walk out of the bedroom still putting some of their clothes on "you fucking bitch" Leonard shouts as he starts running up to me and I instantly run out of the apartment both of them start chasing after me "Leonard I'm sorry stop running" he completely ignores her and keeps chasing me

We run all the way to the lobby with Leonard shouting god knows what at me and penny trying to calm everything down.

As we reach the lobby I'm backed up to a wall and Leonard takes this opportunity to start punching me,
Stronger than I expected honestly, i push him off me and he falls back into penny "okay what the fuck Leonard could we not have just talked about all this?" I say wiping the blood away from my nose "you wanna talk about how you've been fucking my wife."

"Leonard stop okay we haven't been fucking" he laughs to himself "then what was that all about huh." What the fuck do I do in this situation I'm just stood here whilst they're arguing about me. "Leonard this has nothing to do with Y/N but I want a divorce." Holy shit she's done it, she's finally done it" "what- but we're happy we're in love" "no we're not Leonard we haven't been happy in a while and you know that, we used to be in love but now. I don't know what we are." How do I walk away from this without making it awkward. Me and penny both walk up stairs in silence leaving Leonard to process everything.

We both walk into the apartment "sit down I'll get you some ice and clean you up" "I'm fine you don't need to" she stops and turns to me, I probably shouldn't go against her right now "sit down now I'm not in the mood for your shit." Yep definitely shouldn't have gone against her, I sit on the couch still wiping the blood away when penny comes over and straddles my lap holding some tissue and ice "don't even think of doing anything sexual or I will break your nose I'm not in the mood right now." "What? Your not in the mood for hot. Bloody. Rough. Sex with your roommate after telling your husband you want a divorce" after cleaning the blood she holds the ice to my nose "exactly."
