11:11When my world tilts its axis
Pry my mouth open and ask me what's wrong
How winter mumbles bitter words into my bare neck
I am merely scratch marks and shivers
Carved by 2 pairs of tired hands
The cold sticks out a foot and
All the snowflakes get a good look
And a belly laugh shake
These boots choke my feet till I apologize
Say sorry for my cautious hands,
My people-pleaser mouth
And how my stomach freezes in every confrontation
But if I am not the sun then who will be?
Someone has to apply for the job
I've been digging holes on dread island
Since the trees forgot their names
Emptiness hanging decorations on my soul
A summer wonderland is a dream playing hide and seek
I've been holding up this sign,
But Rudolph can't guide me home
These icicles tell me every succulent lie with a prick
Please just crack my head open and wipe up my thoughts
I'm dripping from thinking too much.
