Eyyyyyyy, my first chapter for a story in...2 months. Wow. New story, new plot, same crappy writing style. There will be no set upload days. This first chapter is lackluster in content which ain't a good start but I guarantee it'll pick up in quality(I think)
Also I'm using a wheel to pick the teams and stuff. This won't be to close to the movie and books since I've never read or watched them. Not much for me to say here since I sorta waited two months for this thing. So uh, hope y'all enjoy

Skye
An aviator pilot picked up a basket of rice. Steam formed with every breathe she took as she made her way to a small hut.
Upon entering her body warmed. She dropped the basket. "ahhhh" she groaned.
3 little puppies quickly approached trying to eat the dry rice.
She snatched up the basket and held it in her mouth above the small black and brown pups. "Sorry!" A voice said.
The figure put on a jacket, took the basket and walked outside with Skye. "Thank you for the rice, honestly thank you for everything you're doing for us, it means a lot." The voice person thanked with the best of their ability. Their voice cracking every couple of words.
Skye nodded. She didn't mind the work as for she had nothing better to do. So she decided to help the people who aren't fortunate and who could use the extra help.
"I'm going to head into town, maybe get something to eat." Skye said slowly departing from the figure.
The three little pups rushed to Skye. "Where you goin?" One asked in a squeaky tone.
"I'll be back before you know it." Skye winked as she pet his head and smiled to him.
They left her and followed the figure. Skye sighed and smiled into the air. She watched the great yellow ball of fire rise above the mountains as she walked in quiet. Something bugged her. She couldn't put her paw on it but it was something important.

Dylan
Later in the day
A Dalmatian sprinted into an alley huffing and puffing. He crouched behind a trash can and peeked through some cracks. He controlled his breathing and looked at his stomach.
The fur was a little ruffled up. He cautiously raised a paw above it. He lightly pressed against it and winced. "Gonna feel this tomorrow." He mumbled and looked back through the seems.
3 dogs were hunched over looking around. One scanned his head into the alleyway, he quickly ducked and waited some time before looking back over.
"Dolly!" He thought as he jumped up and ran out the ally as fast as he can. Every human he passed gave him doubtful stares, the dogs on the other hand looked a little anxious and worried. He loosened up as he walked into the safety of his own home.
He nodded to a picture of the moon as he walked by it. His house has little bits of astrology here and there.
He picked up the house phone and punched in some numbers.
RI-
"Dylan! What took you so long?" A feminine voice demanded from the other side of the phone.
Dylan scratched the back of his head. "I-I was running late! heh heh" he lied and looked back down at his stomach.
"Ha, like you ever doing anything but look at planets." She insulted before a short pause. Dylan's serious voice broke the silence."Remember to stay safe with the Hunger Games, this year is the dogs turn to battle it out and you could be chosen." Dylan instructed.
"Aaagh you worry to much., there's like a lot of dogs, odds of me getting picked are like none." The feminine voice replied shaking it off. "Plus we have mom and dad's Dalmatian blood."
Ding!
He glanced at the door for a second and looked back down. "I gotta go, someone's at my door. See you later love you, stay safe and watch our brothers and sisters."
"Mhm, love you to bye." She replied.
Ding!
He rolled his eyes and huffed after he hung up and speed walked to the door in annoyance. "What do you wa—
He froze himself and looked at two big husky men. "Who you are you guys?"

Skye sat down on a stool with a glass of hot chocolate talking to two drunk dogs. More like they were talking to her while she helped them ventilate. Everyone in the area loved Skye's company. She was nice and somehow understood everyone, no matter who it was.
She felt a paw touch hers. She nearly jumped out of her seat. Her eyes looked at the drunk corgi nervously laugh. "I'm sooooo sorryyy. I'm am suber messed up right now." He apologized dragging his paw away.
"It's alright." She smiled and took a sip of her coco.
The sun broke into the dimly lit room. The noise died down as everyone looked at the 2 intruders. They were in nice white and pristine clothing. Whispers flew around like a ricocheting bullet as they smoothly glided across the room.
She nervously watched the bar tender walk to the front to ask them what they'd like.
She focused on him and saw him gulp, then he pointed directly at her. Their eyes locked, his eyes were wide with fear while Skye's were shaking as if they had their own mini earthquake.
"Are you Skye DuPont?" The skinny man in the front asked.
She hesitantly nodded. "You must come with us, you've been chosen." He ordered.
Skye got off her chair and followed them out. Her head hang low and tail was tucked between her legs. Everything muffled out and her vision became impaired. There was no escape from her fate.
The sun hit like bus once she stepped outside. She looked at the ice white vehicle and gulped.
