Bella's POV

My mind was going a million miles a minute i mean come on bella really vampires, but it all made sense, the pale skin, the eye color, the temperture of their skin, their confidence, everything about them was perfect, a little to perfect. 

I stood next to my truck watching their interactions with my sister, she was leaned back against edward's chest, his arms wrapped firmly around her waist while his chin rested on her shoulder a smile on his face as she laughed at something that thomas had said,

 Alice was leaned back against jasper who gently held her to him, rosalie was looking at Amber with a smile on her face as she leaned against emmetts side. 

'Does she know?' i thought watching my older sister interact with them, watching as she shook her head at thomas then turned in edward's arms placing her head on his chest with a smile, she was so happy with them, happier that I had seen her in a while. 

She has everything she wanted, ever since the first time she started seeing them but I wanted her to be safe, she's my only sister, I would die for her in a heartbeat, and as I watched her interact with them I wasn't jealous, I was scared, scared that she was absolutely clueless, scared that she would get hurt, scared that she would drift from me, and most of all that she would loose herself, loose her life at the hands of those she loved, trusted, and believed were her counterparts.

I watched longer seeing her cuddle closer to Edward, her arms wrapped tightly around his waist before he kissed her forehead gently and rubbed his hand and down her arm, he whispered something to her and she laughed softly her eyes closing as she shook her head. I bit my bottom lip gently, my hand running through my hair haphazardly, 'this is going to destroy her,' I thought with a sigh just as the bell rang signaling that it was time to start our school day. Letting my gaze fall over my sister again I watched as she kissed Edward's cheek, then Alice's then Emmett's and finally Rosalie's before Jasper wrapped his arm around her shoulders pulling her to his side as her hand reached up and interlaced with his, she bid everyone good bye and a promise to see them at lunch before they all split up going their separate ways. I shook my head and slowly made my way inside of the building a plan forming in my head for after school today...'God I hope she knows'

*Timeskip*

Ambrosia's POV
I could feel my sister's stare on me as I sat with the Cullen's at lunch, and I tried not to think about it but it was unnerving especially my sister had made it her mission to avoid me all day like the plague, I looked over my shoulder at her our eyes locking momentarily before she quickly looked away making me sigh as I felt a hand gently rest on my thigh. I looked up seeing Rosa looking at me slightly worried, I gave her a small smile and shook my head signaling for her not to worry about me as I gently placed my hand on top of hers leaning back in my chair.

I focused back in on the conversation that my mate were having Jasper, Emmett, Thomas and Edward in a heated debate over who was going to win the baseball game in 2 weeks, I rolled my eyes at their bickering and focused on my other mates Rosa and Ali now talking about what we were going to wear to the baseball game. I smiled softly and gently traced patterns on Rosa's palm, for the moment I was content but who knew that my world would come crashing down around me as soon as I got home.

*Timeskip*

I waved to Edward as I closed the front door locking it behind me with a smile on my face, I gently put my keys into the bowl by the door and gently pulled my shoes off, "Hey ambs," I heard my sister say from behind me making me jump and swiftly turn around to look at her, I gently placed my hand on my chest looking at her with my eyebrow raised, 

"So now you're talking to me," I said as I walked past her to the kitchen to get a bottle of water, "ambs," she started only for me to shoot her a look,

 "No bells you have avoided me and ignored me all day, hell you even ran away from me earlier when I went to ask you what's wrong," I stated crossing my arms, "that's what I need to talk to you about," she said, and I looked at her urging her to continue, she sighed and shook her head softly willing herself to speak to me.

 "D-Do you remember when I asked you to tell me about the quilette legends," she asked and I nodded, "You wanted to know about the other tribe," I stated my heart stuttering in my chest as I grew anxious, " and you told me that you believed that they were still out there, that they were living peaceful lives on their side of the border," she replied and I nodded my head at her. 

"Well I wanted to know more so I did some digging and when we went to that bookstore in port angeles, I got a book on the legends," she stated beginning to pace back and forth, "And I found something that I probably shouldn't have," she continued and my brows furrowed, "Like what?" I asked her, I watched as her shoulders sagged forward, "Let me ask you this sissy, have you noticed that the Cullen's act differently from the rest of us, they never eat, or go out in the sun," she said now looking at me and I felt a cool chill run over me my heart beating in my ears, "what are you talking about?" I asked her but she knew something was off I knew she could hear it in my voice, 

"sissy come on, their skin is pale white, ice cold, they're incredibly strong, fast, they speak like their from a different time," she said her hands on the table as she leaned over the chair infront of me, I gulped gently and looked anywhere but her, "What are you saying, that their--" I started only for me to be cut off by her, "Vampires," she concluded and I felt my body move by itself my mind telling me to protect them. 

I let my hands fall to my stomach as I let out a laugh, "Oh...Oh that's the best joke I've ever heard," I laughed trying not to let the guilt that crawled up my spine to get to me, "Wha--" bella said and I looked at her seriously, "Mija uncle Billy only tells those stories to strike fear into the Hearts of the young ones, their just stories," I concluded, and she looked at me in confusion, "But-..," she said and I shook my head softly, 

"Bells they eat all the time, and you know that the school food is disgusting, they even got tomato soup at the restaurant," I said trying to keep the edge out of my voice. She shook her head softly at me her eyes meeting mine," you're lying...," She said, "I--," I started only for her to cut me off, 

" You knew," she said her voice was hard and forceful making me gulp, "they could be dangerous ambs, and you're covering for them," she stated, "They would never hurt me bells never, and yes because if I don't we can all die, did I lie yes but it was to protect you, " I yelled standing up from my leaning position, "Protect me how ambs!" She yelled back.

 "The Cullen's aren't the only vampires out there, they have their own set of rules, one of them being that if a person were to find out what they were they would be killed for knowing the secret," I yelled, "I was trying to keep you safe, I didn't want you to get hurt, I didn't want to put you in danger," I panted calming down after the yelling , I watched as her eyes widened,

 "Ambs..I.. I'm sorry I didn't know," she said, "It's too late now," I replied my voice cracking as I shook my head at her gently pinching my nose bridge before I felt her arms wrap around me tightly and I returned the hug full force letting tears stream down my face, "I never wanted this for you, any of this," I said sadly feeling her shake her head against my shoulder, "You know I'm to smart for my own good," she replied and I let a small laugh out. I gently kissed my sisters forehead and pulled her closer, "Bells you can't tell anyone not even JJ okay," I said and she nodded her head, "I won't sissy, I won't," she responded, I held her close to me for as long as possible, 'Ill protect you,' I thought, 'Ill protect you...'
