Dani made it back to her room, shrugging off the cloak and unstrapping the knots that she had made. She placed the person on her bed, knowing that later she would have to request one of the maids to get it cleaned regardless of the situation, and strode to her desk fishing out goggles that worked by manipulating the different rays of light to better observe specimens and creatures. She donned them and turned back to the young man that rested on her bed. To her dismay, Charlie was right, he was a robot and a rather complex one at that. She sighed and massaged her head unsure what to do with the information. She sat in a plush chair across the way taking a moment to rest her body and her troubled mind.
Questions bubbled up, questions that she felt now needed answers to. She leaned forward reaching for the leather bound book that was used for a journal.
“ Why would the tower need humanoid robots? What are they doing with them? If they go through the effort, why are they throwing them out.” After writing those down with ample space for later discoveries and answers she closed the familiar and well worn book and rested it back on the small table.
She stood dusting herself off as she returned to her peculiar arrangement. “ Now what are you and why were you dumped out?” She murmured to herself. She placed the goggles back over her eyes and began to work, attaching the familiar tools back onto her waist. She pressed into the lines that exposed his inside, and his mind. With careful care and caution she proceeded to work and to learn more about this young man who she knew now for sure, was a robot.
