"So what are you planning to do now? I don't think you can just go back to Lexi's old life now." Stefan said as he drove us back to the Boarding house.

"I guess I could just compel myself a place, I kind of want to see how this all plays out here . A lot of shit is about to go down around here." I told him. He let out a chuckle.

"Wait- You know what is going to happen- You can help us avoid things?" He said it more as a question. I shrugged.

"I mean I could. But there are a lot of things that have to happen. I'm not telling you everything." I said sternly.

"And you could stay here, that room in the boarding house is all yours if you want it."

"Really?? I- I mean if you're sure. You don't think Damon is going to try to kill me again?" I asked him.

"I won't let him." Stefan told me with a smile. We pulled into the boarding house and got out. "So how is the whole, getting used to being a vampire thing going?"

"It's not that bad." I admitted. "I only drank blood once so far and it was like I've always done it." Stefan nodded.

"Like riding a bike?" He offered with a goody smile. I nodded as we made it to the door, where Damon stood, opening the door.

"Welcome home kids." He muttered, his blue eyes sweeping over to me and narrowing. "Lexi."

"Damon." I spoke back. Stefan shook his head, moving past Damon and into the house, leaving me and Damon at the doorway. "Are you going to make me sleep outside tonight?" I asked with a hint of amusement.

"Maybe if you don't tell me what has changed about you." I smirked at him, stepping closer to him.

"Do you not like the change, Damon?" I asked as I moved my hand to touch his short black hair that hung above his shoulders.

"I'm not saying that." He retorted, pushing a piece of my hair behind my ear. Leaning closer to me, making my dead heart flutter. "I'm just saying," He started, meeting my eyes with his sparkling blues, "You're playing a dangerous game.." He finished with a smirk, then he was gone. I shook my head with a laugh, moving into the house, grabbing a bottle of whiskey on my way up to my room. I hadn't drank nearly enough blood tonight, the whiskey should help curve my carving for now.

Waking up I noticed someone laying next to me.

"Morning Damon." I muttered as I stretched. I rolled onto my side to see him already on his side, looking at me. "And what do I owe for this gracious wake up?" Damon smirked at me.

"Was that you I heard last night?" I blushed at his words. Thinking back to last night, I had been a bit lonely and needed a- release. Damon sat up with a smirk, pushing me to my back as he leaned over me. "Next time, I'd be glad to help out." He told me as he moved closer. "I'm sure I can make you louder than-" He glanced down at my hand. I huffed out, pushing him off of me.

"I highly doubt that. From what I've heard, you have to compel girls into your bed." I told him as I got up, walking to my bag in a tank top and my black panties. Feeling his eyes on me.

"I think you're forgetting about that one amazing night we shared on the roof." Damon brought up. I laughed.

"Where you tried to kill Le-me? Yeah, Too bad, I can't even remember it. Guess it wasn't as amazing as you thought." I snorted as I pulled on a pair of jeans. Pulling my tank top off to pull a new shirt on, but I was stopped. Damon had flashed in front of me, taking the shirt from me before I could pull it on, leaving my chest bare.

"Maybe you should give me another shot." He whispered, his hands on my bare hips. I raised my eyebrow at him, not at all fazed by being so bare to him since it wasn't really my body.

"What? So you can try to kill me again? I'd rather be stuck in a tomb for a hundred years or so." I muttered. I feel Damon's hands tighten on my hips, pulling me closer to him. My chest on his clothed chest.

"What do you know about the tomb?" He demanded, looking into my eyes.

"A bit. Just that your little Petrova doppleganger isn't in there." I told him, not pulling from our stare down. Damon tilted his head at me, eyebrow raised.

"And why would I believe you?"

"I never told you that you had to believe me. But I do think you're wasting your time on a girl who doesn't care." I whispered as I leaned up, my lips brushing his slightly.

"And you do?" He questioned, making our lips graze each other.

"Guess you'll have to find out." I told him, snatching my shirt from him and pulling away from him. I turned away from him pulling my shirt on only to turn back to see him gone. Things are really getting interesting between Damon Salvatore and I.
