They could see the pair of red eyes staring at them. "Heeseung," She stammered. Heeseung grabbed her hand and both of them ran away. "What is that?" she questioned.

"No time for explanations! Let's first look for a safe place!" he said. A large furry beast chased them both as they fled for their life.

Minjae and Heeseung ran far from the house because doing so would expose the others to the creature. "We can't just run away like this forever!" Minjae exclaimed.

"I know! I've got an idea in my head." He responded while turning to face the oncoming beast. "Let's divide! You turn right, and I turn left!" he said. "What happens next?"

"Stay alive. Go!" In response, he sprinted to the left. "WHAT?!" Despite being irritated by his response, she did what he instructed and ran to the right. They each divided into two different directions.

Minjae had expected the beast to chase Heeseung, but instead it followed her. She said beneath her breath, "Shit." In an attempt to come up with a plan, she gazed in the front.

"Think Minjae, think!" She murmured as she cast a glance around. She was so preoccupied with what she was thinking that she failed to realise that the ground in front of her was somewhat graded. She sprinted and tumbled down the graded ground.

She sprained her ankle and wailed in pain. She was in too much pain to run any longer. The creature then leaped down the graded ground and came to rest in front of her.

Fortunately, it had its back to her, so it was unaware that Minjae was behind it. Minjae backed up gradually while covering her mouth. The beast was perplexed because it couldn't find her.

Heeseung was searching the woods for a weapon of some sort in the meantime. He was hoping to come across some sharp branches, but he came across none. "Why isn't there something sharp in these woods?!" he groaned.

He had to return to their home since he had no other option. "Brothers! It's me! Open the door! I require a sword! A spear! Anything! Open the door!" He knocked loudly and shouted.

Jongseong quickly unlocked the door. "Hyung! You've returned! Where's Minjae?" he asked when he noticed Minjae wasn't with him. "A Cythraul was running after her. I need my sword," He stated before barging in, throwing the backpack on the floor.

The others came and asked what happened. Jongseong told them about Minjae. "We must help Heeseung hyung," Riki said. They all hurriedly ran outside to get their weapons.

The rest took their swords, while Jongseong took his bow. "We can also help!" Maeumi stated before the boys left the house. "No, you all stay and guard this house," Jungwon said
.
They quickly rushed into the woods after leaving the house. "Minjae ran in that direction. So let's go!" Heeseung made a gesture in that direction. They split up and searched their surroundings for her.

"Minjae! Minjae! Where are you?!" they shouted. Concerned, Heeseung searched everywhere for her. Minjae stayed motionless in the shadows of the beast as they searched for her.

The Cythraul was stumbling around in front of her, looking for her. Minjae thought she had to go before the beast turned around. She stood up carefully since her right ankle hurt.

She made a silent escape, but as she did so, she unintentionally walked on some sticks, which made a noise. The moment the beast turned to face Minjae, she froze in place.

The moment the beast locked eyes with her, she began to shake. Her heart was beating so quickly, and she was dripping sweat down her forehead. She finds herself gasping for air.
