Chapter 2

"WAKE UP!"

Levi screams a bit before rolling off the bed as he rubs his head in pain before looking up to see Lucian all dressed up and having some bags on him.

"You're finally awake! Quick! Dress up, eat something, and lets go!" Levi looks at Lucian, slightly confused before he asks, "We're leaving? Already?"

Lucian nods his head. "Hmm-hmm! So let's get going!" "Why are we leaving so early?" "Because we need to go buy a boat or ship before they all run out. Last time I heard, there were about only 3 or 4 left."

Levi sighs as he gets up from the floor as he turns to Lucian and says, "Give me like 4 minutes to get dressed and then I'll be heading out with you."

Lucian gives Levi a nod before leaving the room as Levi changes into a different outfit.

Levi walks out the room after changing, having a small bag tied with a rope around his waist, and he just grabs an apple and goes outside the house, where Lucian is waiting for him.

"So, what kind of boat are we gonna get?" Levi asked. "I'm still thinking about that, but we should definitely get a boat that at least has a small place to sleep in, I definitely don't wanna be sleeping on an uncomfortable spot," Lucian responded.

When they near the docks they see 3 boats available; a rowboat, a medium-sized boat with a small hut/cabin-like fort on top of the boat with a small sail in the middle and some oars, and a big boat, not as a big as a ship (can probably be considered one though) but not as small as a boat, with a medium-sized sail in the middle, 2 hut/cabin-like forts on top of the boat, and some oars.

Levi stares at the boats in awe while Lucian is thinking on which boat they should take. "Okay so, which boat should we take?" "Hm?" Levi looks towards Lucian as Lucian continues to say, "The rowboat seems too small, but the price would be cheaper, the medium-sized boat might be enough for the both of us but I'm not sure if we'll have enough to pay for it, and the larger one will definitely cost a lot, so maybe we should- ...Huh?"

Lucian looks at Levi, who's walking towards the person who's putting up the boats for sale, and they chat for a bit before Levi goes through his pockets, pulls out some gold coins and gives them to the person before Levi walks back to Lucian, who gives him a confused face.

"What did you just do?" Lucian asked. "Oh, I just brought us the big boat," Levi said. There's some silence between them before Lucian says, "I'm sorry, what?" "I just...brought us the...big boat...?"

There's another set of silence between them before Lucian says, "Wow! That's uh, that's nice of you. But I really do think I should've been the one to buy us one of the boats." "No, no, it's fine. I got this covered!"

They walk towards the boat and aboard the boat as they sail off.

Lucian looks off the edge of the boat and sighs happily as he looks towards Levi and says, "Looks like this trip is starting off great!" Levi looks back at him and then turns away and says, "Yeah, I guess it is."

Lucian looks at Levi a bit concerned and says, "Are you okay? You don't sound so well." "Oh-! It's uh, it's nothing. I'm just nervous that's all." "Nervous about what? Is it because of where we're gonna be heading? If so, don't worry about it, I'm sure the island is safe." "Well, that's just one of my worries." "And what's the other?" "Just a few personal problems, that's all." "Okay then..."

Lucian looks towards the small huts/cabins and says, "Which one of these do you want?" "Huh?" "I'm talking about the huts, which one do you want? This one has a small green jewel on it, and the other has a small white jewel, which one do you want?" "I guess I'll choose the white." "Ight, guess I'll take the one with green."
