   Chaeyoung entered Mina's giant condo with a basket of fruit and flowers. Mina had called her over from work, and Chaeyoung still hadn't a clue why.

"Minari?" She called walking around the home.

"In my bedroom!" Mina shouted from down the hall. Chaeyoung sped up eventually finding her room where she saw Mina laying in her bed with medical equipment next to her bed while her arm was healing.

"How are you doing?" Chaeyoung asked feeling guilty even though she had nothing to do with the other getting shot.

"I'm good, I called you to come cuddle with me I'm lonely" Mina pouted causing a laugh to escape Chaeyoung. She didn't think twice as she pulled her shoes off and climbed into the elegant bed next to Mina.

"I'm sorry you had to experience that. That shouldn't have been our first date" Mina forced a smile. Chaeyoung observed the woman's wounded shoulder seeing as blood seeped through the wraps and bandages.

"It was a hot first date" Chaeyoung said which caught Mina off guard. "Hot?" The older woman raised an eyebrow.

"Mhm" Chaeyoung mumbled, "you shooting them with the gun and then taking over the wheel even though you were hurt. Badass" Mina found herself blushing at Chaeyoung's so called compliment.

"You're so cute" Mina smiled before placing a kiss upon Chaeyoung's lips. Chaeyoung returned the kiss in an instant while wrapping her arms around Mina's small frame.

"Mmm wait Chae." Mina hummed. Chaeyoung pulled away giving Mina her undivided attention, "yes?"

"If we're gonna you know...do this" Mina made hand gestures between the two of them, "I don't want you out and around in public unprotected" Chaeyoung stated blankly trying to process the brunette's words.

"Unprotected?" Chaeyoung questioned genuinely.

"Yes like...Chae someone is out to kill me and I'm 99.9% sure it's my father. He hates me. The man did so many things to me as a child that it left me scarred even til this day." Mina sighed leaning into Chaeyoung's embrace.

Mina continued speaking, "I want us to get together, but I don't want you to get hurt being around me. So from now on you stay by my side. Deal?" Chaeyoung knew she didn't have anyone else but herself. Her parents disowned her when she came out as gay, immediately kicking her out where she got an apartment and started going to school while working two part-time jobs. After she graduated she was in debt and hadn't a clue where to get a job at because most places she looked for didn't hire newly graduates. But luckily Mina saved her.

"Deal." Chaeyoung agreed sealing the deal with another kiss. The rest of the day is spent with them both laying in bed. Mina watching a movie while Chaeyoung jumped up everytime Mina moved not wanting her to be in pain.

"Chae relax" Mina giggled at her anxiousness, "you're acting like I'm gonna die"

"Well I mean you could've! They couldn't missed your shoulder and got you somewhere fatal!" Chaeyoung sighed out visibly frustrated with Mina's stubbornness and the way she wasn't afraid to fight danger.

"Look Chae, when you have enemies you can't run forever because that alone gets you killed quicker than killing them yourself." Mina semi explained. Not wanting to finish the topic, Mina changed it by crawling on top of Chaeyoung and wrapping herself around the blonde. Chaeyoung didn't argue and simply changed the topic mumbling a small "I'm hungry"

On cue Mina's stomach started talking causing the both of them to burst into laughter. "looks like your stomach agrees" Chaeyoung stated. Mina slowly stood up from her position on the bed, Chaeyoung right beside her. "Want my chef to make food or do you wanna cook?" Mina asked not trying to sound too rich.

"Can you cook? Asking for research purposes" chaeyoung joked. "I mean I can but currently my arm is hurt" the older woman pouted.

"I'll cook, but I'm warning you I'm no professional" Chaeyoung put her hands up in defense before prepping her food while Mina sat on the counter watching her with adoration in her eyes.
