I left Kolana's room and laid down, cuddling beside my son. I couldn't help but to feel bad for him! He would grow up without his mother, just like my nephews without their father! I guess we do understand the same pain in a way. But you know what? If I can't provide the loving mother then I'm going to provide everything else. It's time to stop struggling.

I'm getting back in the drug game!

Fuck It.

The Stripper Chronicles

Chapter Four.

Kolana'

I woke up early, I knew my eyes would be a little puffy. I unthawed the sausage and placed the cold spoons on and around my eyelids. After about five minutes, I began to cook my children breakfast!

"Wake up fat daddy." I whispered into Kavelles ear, rubbing his back.

"Mommy needs you awake." I repeated my actions for Kaville. After struggling for damn near twenty minutes. I settled and brought the food to them, turning on spongebob and letting them eat and laugh! I loved this!

After they were finished eating, I cleaned them up and got them dressed. Dropping the boys off, I finally arrived. Ready to start my first day of work!

"Hello, how are you guys today?" I asked the receptionists.

"Great, let me show you to your office sweetheart." The center director said leading me to my new home.

I smiled at all the doctors, housekeeping, nurses, cna, rn's and patients. I genuinely was happy to meet everyone including housekeeping. As I walked in and looked at my desk, I thanked Mrs.Ruckus. She politely closed the door and left me to get familiar with my information. I looked at the piles of guidelines, the locker keys to my own personal patient files.

Being proud of myself, was definitely an understatement.

I began reading my patients physical information. I needed to learn what would be best for each and every resident. I stopped on one lady in particular. She complained of lower back stabbing, cramps, and it was wrote

"She was beginning to see and believe things that are not true." - The beginning stages of dementia.

I needed to meet this woman, I wanted to have something she would like before she became a complete "stranger". (For a lack of a better word.)

Walking to her room, I became nervous. This was my first real case, my first assignment and assessment. Room 426, bed B. Knocking twice, I waited. After no response I slowly opened the door just a tiny amount.

"Hello, Mrs.Youngblood?" Announcing quietly, I was not sure if she was asleep or not.

"Sssssh." A male voice said. I knew that voice, Jelani!

My eyes popped out my head. Silently, I tried to sneak out of the room. God-Damn-It! My fucking clip board got stuck to the Velcro of the door. I was caught .

"You have a collect call from "Dollaz" Do you accept the charges?"

Locking my office door and Sitting down at my desk, I answered "yes.".

"What's up baby, still hate me?" Dominique was delusional.

"Yep, you know it." I said popping the P in yep.
