Kolana'

Momma James screamed out for the twins and DJ to come eat. She treated DJ as if he was her grandchild. No different! We landed out here only two days ago and I truly feel like I gave Momma James three grandchildren.

"Mom they can get their own food they are not babies." I laughed.

"Shush up girly." She giggled. "Your momma in here sounding like a hater." She snitched to the boys. I started cracking up. I love being in her presence. They smiled and sat down beginning to eat their food.

"Go." Momma James directed towards me. I smiled, saying thank you with my eyes. I walked out the house giving her a hug in every single boy a kiss on the cheek letting them know that I love them all. I giggled getting in to the car, turning up Drakes song  – Fake love, I began to drive. Me and Jamal, The boys Godfather were going to have lunch. It took me about 40 minutes to get to the strange Mexican restaurant. I sat down and played the iPhone-pool game against Blondee. Taking a break from the game I looked up to see Jamal walking in, he seemed a little sketchy. Sitting down, I leaned across the table, "What the fuck is wrong with you?" I asked in a motherly whisper.

He didn't speak for about ten seconds only making my fears intensify. "Don't trust no one." He spoke looking down to his phone. "What?" I asked slightly confused. "Look". He showed me his phone with a video from an anonymous number. "Can I press play?" I asked him nervous. He looked me directly in my eyes and stopped, I could tell he was serious. "Yes you can press play but I don't want you to be hurt ok." He warned. I stopped, taking a deep breath I pressed play.

"Bitch ass nigga, cuz run his ass off the road right now." The niggas in the car yelled out laughing. They continued to drive recklessly following behind a red 06 impala that said "Rell" on the back. It was Khyrells car. This was the person who killed him. I knew that his death was not an accident. I stopped the video before seeing the actual hit. I couldn't take no more.

I sat back completely in my seat. "When did you get that bro?' I asked calm. "A week ago." He said, which explains why he has been weird and blowing me up lately. "Any idea?" I asked. He shook his head no. This clearly couldn't have been Charles work, like he tried to claim in his will. This was not adding up at all, I gave Jamal my love and went back on my way to the house, being extra aware of everything around me.

"Nigga I don't no nigga named Mook. The fuck is your problem." I hollered out, gun cocked. I aimed it at one of my past friends. "Khalil stop playing with me." I raised the gun.

"Yo chill im not on them other niggas side you know what's up." He pressed his loyalty. He continued, "I'm just telling you the word around town, ain't none of you guys safe. Anybody that rock with you gotta hide out, go to war or fight. Its real out here, tell me the truth you really don't know who im talking about?"

"Nigga if I say I don't know him, I don't know him. Nigga this deeper than me. They killed my only brother, and now they fucking with baby girl. Do you know what I'm going through?"

"Nah, I feel you nigga." He agreed, extending his hand to dap me up showing some understanding. Dapping his hand with my left still clutching my 40 in right. "Tell everyone from the gang to meet at the secret location. 20 minutes no time to prepare. Don't make it too known though, no one needs to know I'm back. Only the solid ones know if they ask you where that means they don't need to come." I stated with force, I only got two more days in Washington. I needed to figure this shit out right now. With that I called up Jelani and let him know I needed back up but without any noise.

In other words watch these snake niggas showing fake love.

I got ready and extra strapped and made my way to the secret spot, which was nothing more than an old abandoned elementary school. I pulled up in the safeway parking lot, about a block away from the school to give me some distance. Texting Jelani one more time to scure his location I began my 3 block walk to the school. Walking in i jogged up the 3 sets of stairs to the top floor and went into the business classroom, taking my normal seat at the teachers desk. The boys began to flock in one by one. With respect they all said whats up. Some choosing to sit whilee others chose to stand. At 20 minutes exact i shut the door. Everyone knew timing was everything for me.

A minute late can change history.

"Whats up family?" I used the air quotes to describe the word family. Everyone greeted me back, then Khalil asked what im assuming everyone wanted to know. "So why we here nappy?" He used my hood name.

"From what I hear niggas got problems with me right?" I asked for clarification.

"Not know one in this room." Someone spoke out, causing me to smirk. "So what's the deal, what yall been hearing let me know." I demanded.

"They got money on your head." A stocky guy named Sarb, spoke up.

"How much?" I asked sitting back down.

"50 grand to bring you or Kolana' back to them alive." Another guy, who looked like Kimbo slice, we called him LK.

"That's it?" That's what got everyone going crazy stinky ass fifty large, fucking fifty grand." I was insulted, I continued.. "Fucking fifty grand for my baby girl. Man I just lost my muthafucking brother aint no one gonna touch my baby girl and that's on Jesus. anybody know these niggas?" I was filled with rage.

Still partially annoyed, I continued to rant. "Fifty grand what the fuck, we've all touched fifty grand in a day. This is fuckinhg crazy." I was dissapointed.

"I think I can speak for all of us when I say, wasn't no one turning in you or baby girl. We know what's up. We know how to touch money. Not on no homo shit, my nigga we been rocking since kids. You took that money from your dad dying, met the right people got some work and put all of us starving young niggas on. Loyalty is more than respected over here. Its fucking mandatory!" Khalil roared out, speaking from the heart. The crowd of my past crew began to all speak..

"Yea nigga, duh" Bray yelled out.

"Nigga Gang gang for life." Little Kimbo, threw up the gang signs.

"That's chump change to real bosses." Dropem spoke, popping his chain.

"We touch millions in the gang." Krizz spoke.

"so whats the next move brodie?" Khalil asked.

"Find these niggas first. I need a couple of you to watch out for my babygirl. Ill relocate you guys and all, think about it. Get away from this cursed ass state." I proposed.

"Not like that, but like that nigga im the only nigga in here that been here since babies, huggies and all. Shit our dads was click tight so they way your dad rocked for mine is the way im  rocking for you. Me and Gabriel is ready to leave 2morrow." Lariq said finally speaking. Hes always been silent. But this nigga a beast.
