Skylar arrived back home and walked in to find everyone asleep in their rooms except Jackson who sat outside.

She took her things into her room and took off her makeup wondering if Jackson was still outside. She didn't want to wonder but something in her still cared about him.

She wondered if the part of her that still cared about him drove her to do the things back at the holiday house.

Skylar decided to walk outside and sat down next to him as he wrapped his arm around her shoulders.

Sighing she looked down at her hands in her lap, "Jackson, I- I am not completely over Drew... I thought you should know" she said and he moved his arm off her.

"I understand, but I promise this time I am not going to mess anything up"

The one thing I want you to do is to mess up

She nodded innocently and looked up at the ocean and people going for night walks on the beach.

"Look Skylar, I know I am not an easy person to deal with and I can be controlling" she nodded in agreement, and he paused taking a breath in.

"But I am trying to change for you, okay?"

"Jack-"

"Let me finish... I love you sky I always have but, I have been thinking of you want to back out so, go for it. I can loan you money for your family" Skylar sighed and shook her head.

"I can't take charity; I am sorry and yeah I don't really want to marry you but I can't take your money and if marrying you is the only way without taking charity then that's my choice".

She got off the seat and started to walk away until she felt a hand grab onto her arm and pulled her back.

They now stood face-to-face with each other. Feeling his breath on her being inches away from kissing.

He moved his other hand on her cheek and pulled her in kissing her. Skylar got surprised and lost in the moment starting to kiss him back.

After seconds, realization kicked in and Skylar pulled away. She looked at him breathing heavily as he did the same to her.

"I'm sorry I can't," she said looking down guiltily at the floor, "it's okay it's my fault, I am sorry" she nodded to him once and walked inside her room closing the door and sitting down leaning on the closed door.

"What did I do," she asked herself banging her head lightly backward on the door. Skylar was starting to feel all these mixed emotions all at once and her breathing got louder.

As she got swarmed with all of her problems; getting married, falling in love with drew, kissing Jackson, it just all came at her.

She looked over to the window and got up walking over. seeing a big group of people sitting on the docks and noticed Rudy and Jonathan in the group.

Realizing that it was all her friends she quickly put her back to the wall beside the window when one of them looked up at her.

She closed the curtains and turned off the lights slowly going to sleep hoping that it would all go away.

The next morning Skylar woke up and walked out of her room getting handed a coffee cup full of coffee from her brother.

"What's this for?" she asked taking a sip, "oh you will need this for when you hear when the wedding is happening," he said taking a sip of his and walking into the lounge room where everyone sat.
