Skylar sat patiently in the cute cafe that Jackson dragged her to, swirling her spoon around in her coffee.
Jackson looked up at her and saw how bored she was and grabbed her hand softly stopping her from playing with her coffee.
"What's wrong?" he asked her, she looked at him blankly and rolled her eyes going back to twirling the straw and resting her head in her hand.
She hears her phone buzz and grabs it out of her pocket while Jackson glared at her.
Austin Hey Sky! I was wondering if we could talk. Can you meet anywhere?
Skylar Of course! Anything to get away from Jackson right now! I will come to set, and we can drive somewhere and talk :)
Austin Okay!
She put her phone back in her pocket and stood up from her seat, "can I have a ride back to the set please?".
Jackson looked at her with a bit of anger and nodded his head standing up why won't she give up on him already? he kept asking himself as he drove to the chateau.
"Thank you, Jackson, I will get a ride and meet you back at the apartment" she smiled opening the door before she felt his hand on her arm.
"Remember that we are technically engaged" he said with a smile letting go of his tight grip.
She nodded and got out walking over to Austin who waited for her out front.
"You ready?" he asked grabbing his keys out of his pocket, "yeah of course!" she exclaimed walking over with him and getting into the car.
"So, what did you want to talk about?" she asked looking at the boy, "Drew... he hasn't been the same and the others have noticed even his acting isn't right he is either too angry or too sad" Skylar sighed.
"This is all my fault," she said holding her head in her hands as he parked on the side of the road next to the beach.
"you're just trying to do what's right" he smiled and she looked at him nearly in tears, "but I love him so much Austin, I am making the wrong choice" she gasped and her eyes widened.
"I'm making the wrong choice" her face started to light up and Austin smiled with her turning in the engine.
"So, home or-"
"Back to set!" she exclaimed excitedly; she didn't know how great it would feel to finally come clean about her feelings for Drew.
It was the best feeling ever, better than anything she has ever done before because she spoke about what she wanted, not what others wanted for her or the right or wrong choice for her but what she wanted.
They got back to set, and Skylar jumped out of the car as fast as she could, walking over to where they were filming and noticing Drew was in that scene.
He looked so lifeless and brain dead she had to think fast, in that moment it was all or nothing. She marched through their scene cameras on them, and Drew and Nick watched as she walked up to them, not prepared for what happens next.
She wraps her arms around Drew's neck and pushes him in to kiss him, he jumped in surprise and then wrapped his arms around her waist spinning her around happily.
They pulled out of their kiss and rested their heads on each other while everyone around them cheered and the cameras filmed them.
"I love you Drew Starkey" she whispered so only he could hear, "I love you too Skylar Hoffman".
"What the fuck Sky!" she heard a voice yell in rage as they stormed up to her and Drew with their eyes widened.
"Jackson I-" before she could continue Jackson punches Drew in the face, catching him by surprise he loses his balance and looks at Jackson.
"Drew!" she yelled looking at him then at Jackson, "what the hell are you doing?" she yelled to Jackson walking towards him.
"We are engaged, aren't we?" he said sarcastically as she shook her head, "well I don't have a ring and I haven't signed anything to say we are so technically we aren't Jackson!".
His face fell and started to loom guilty for what he did but tried to hide it as much as he could, "look I know that on another technicality we are engaged but you always knew that I had feelings for Drew, and you accepted that. I am sorry if it hurt you but he is the person I want to spend the rest of my life with, even if that means I have to work and pay to keep my family going"
Jackson started to look down to the ground and she stepped closer to him, "I guess I now know how you felt, but it doesn't change the fact that we are still getting married".
She looked at him confused and shook her head, "everyone said I could back out if I wanted?".
"Yeah, to be nice Sky! this is an arranged marriage! You can't get out unless both parents let you" he walked away, and she stood there speechless.
"Then it isn't an arranged marriage, Jackson. It's a forced marriage," she said as he continued to walk away.
She fell to the ground and tears started to come out of her eyes, "what have I done" she said in between sobs.
Madelyn and Maddison ran towards her and tried to comfort her, "I did exactly what he did to me, I- I'm a bad person" she cried.
Drew looked at everyone that Skylar didn't know and told them to give her space and some time.
Then walking over to her and bent down to talk to her, "you're not a bad person Sky" she nodded willing her eyes, "I am Drew, I did the one thing I didn't want to do, cheat. Even though our engagement is or is not official I still cheated on him and betrayed my family..."
